They practically have the same amount atp.

Rosé has 347M and Nayeon has 353M.

OTG was front loaded  Gone stomps even a random teaser has 60M views

28 reasons is great but the album…No identity and vision I fear. All the hype for what ???:giraffe:

i love seulgi’s mini and my bias is jisoo so that explains a lot :deadbanana4:

28 reasons has sexy moments but i like it a lot more bc of how dark it sounds if that makes sense.

i will say the EP was a bit inconsistent

It wasn't bad it just felt like they tried too hard with her debut. The same thing happened with that awful Monster song. Give her more Naughty serves SM.

One good thing about aespa is that they will never give you generic 2016'd kpop music:bunny:

jeongyeon deserves a solo after all these years of getting paid dust, she’s the liz of twice :gaycat7:

a solo where she can shine with just her and a mic stand, no choreo, and have her full whitney houstyeon moment

It could have been good if it was sung by BoA or Taeyeon maybe but it had Slugi's bad vocal tone sadly. The whole EP felt disconnected bc her persona really didn't live up to the "sexy" aesthetic they went for. She's like Jisoo in her group except she's actually good at her job. Her only irredeemable quality is her ugly vocal tone.

not Slugi

Nct127 debuted in 2016. Aespa, being a nct tribute act, by definition only release 2016’d generic music

The only tribute to NCT was taking their song and getting it to chart higher than #1069 on the melon daily chart actually

Now what we’re not gonna do is come for Seulgi’s mini. Anywhere But Home, Bad Boy Sad Girl, Crown. GORGEOUS songs that not everyone can pull off

seulgi's mini was boring, try hard, mpretentious garbage. only annoying gays were gagged (or pretended to be cause not even they streamed that)

And it wouldn’t have been as good nor would it feel as AUTHENTIC as Seulgi’s touch on the demos.

I never realize how much Red Velvet and Stray kids always have a comeback around the same time and overlap each other    :dies:

August 6th, 2018: Both groups released "Power Up" and "My Pace" on the same day.

November 2018: Both groups released "RBB" and "Get Cool" 2 weeks from each other and both promoted their songs on December 2018

June 19th, 2019: Both groups released their most controversial and noisy bops "Zimzalabim" and "Side Effects" on the same day and changed Kpop forever.

June 2020: SKZ released "God's Menu" on June 17,  while Irene & Seulgi were supposed to debut with "Monster" on June 15 (2 days prior), but it got postponed to July 7 for some reason. However, both groups still promoted around the same time on July and overlapped each other on music shows.

August 2021:  RV released "Queendom" on August 16, while SKZ released "Thunderous" on August 23 which is exactly a week after. Both groups had been on long hiatuses prior to this (SKZ 11 months and RV almost 2 years).

March 2022: SKZ released "Maniac" on March 18, while RV released "Feel My Rhytmn" on March 21 which is only 3 days apart from each other

October 2022: SKZ released "Case 143" on October 7, while Seulgi finally debuted solo with "28 Reasons" on October 4, which is again only 3 days apart from each other.

It's actually a very funny coincidence, and it's apparently something that is joked about in each fandoms :dies:  Well now we know that if one group is announcing a comeback, we can expect the other group to follow:dies:  So when is RV coming back? :cm:
