We needed the new SM boy group to flop so they’d focus more resources on their girl groups :monkey:

I know kendoll king has already given most of the info but:

Their domestic breakthrough was very early on with AJU NICE in 2016. An iconic song in kpop.

Their international breakthrough was Dont Wanna Cry in 2017 which gained them a lot of int fans and a global exposure.

so they’ve had success in all avenues at this point and they still keep getting bigger on their NINTH year in the industry, with their latest comeback SUPER smashing on the Korean charts, the album being the highest selling of the year and one of the highest selling kpop albums ever(is it already the best selling now?), a successful tour in multiple continents etc. A very very impressive career to the say the least. And it makes me so happy to say that they deserve every inch of their success because they’re such a complete group with every quality you could ask for in a group. :'(

Left & Right is such a serotonin boost for me, that song is truly sunshine bottled in a few mins, quirky excellence :WAP:

From what I have understood, Don’t Wanna Cry seemed to be their peak for many years, cause they seemed N/A after that from 2018-2020ish compared to DWC. And then had a repeak in 2021 with Left Right, which started this whole new era for them?

Idk maybe it’s viral on tik tok UK :deadbanana4:? Or it’s the auto play? But why choosing the UK only?

Idk what you consider N/A because that’s not true.

Clap, Thanks, Home, Oh My and Hit! are some of their most well known songs and they all came between that time period.
as many people have already mentioned, they never truly “flopped” or “dipped” in popularity. They have always been consistently doing well. Yeah DWC was bigger than the other ones and Left & Right is one of their most iconic songs that brought in a lot of new fans, but the others have done nothing but help their craft and growth and goodwill.
