The prediction is kinda worrying tbh especially that it's unfiltered. It might dip below 4M filtered. :dancehall:

these are great numbers generally, but considering this song had almost SEVEN YEARS worth of hype and a massive push on radios and social media its hard not to feel a bit underwhelmed. i initially thought it was doing 20M tbh. the fact its slow definitely hurts the numbers, but first day everyone should be tuning in regardless and that affects longevity rather than debut

Also, people saying anti-hero is benefitting from an album bomb.....:bibliahh:

Navy already reducing this to "just an OST" after the projected 40% drop :toofunny3:

Dont act like you wouldnt drag for filth these numbers if others had this kind of UNPRECEDENTED  and MASSIVE push for such an anticipated movie and more importantly the first solo music from Rihanna in 7 ******* years.

These are average numbers when you take context into consideration.

Her lead single will surely do better but she wasted some of her hype with this useless song. If the idea behind this is to grab an Oscar then they'll headed to a strong disappointment :skull:

Not after 6 or whatever years of hype :deadbanana2:

Navy literally said she was Taylor’s only peer :deadbanana2:

Nah, at the end it got ~4.65m + 540K unfiltered streams. Filtered streams should be around 4.5m + 525K

Well, still a bad drop but I hope it's just due to Halloween. :dancehall2:

Sunday will be worse I fear.

I'm sorry but I didn't see Bey doing anything close to 8M or even the 5M predicted today. After all the years and the 'quality'

The fact that Taylor is doing 'unusually big numbers' do not make everything else automatically bad

I doubt it will have only 100k discount. It will be 200k-300k discount so 4.2m on Spotify Global incoming :camping:

Most of the GP is not going to listen to a song like LMU over and over again. Per select YouTube reactions, it made some people emotional/triggered thinking about a loved one.

Even I can’t imagine I will be in the mood to experience that kind of somberness on a regular basis. Thus it can be understandably polarizing. I still listen to it for her vocals tho.

Nonetheless, we never expected Rihanna to release a song like this first. Few people I know, lost some interest two days before release, when they realized it was just a tribute song. They were already disappointed before they even heard the song. Vowed to not play it again after hearing it for the first time. Despite seeing it’s quality, it’s just not what they wanted from her and that’s 100% fair (we didn’t either).

This was a soft return and I think it was pretty smart actually.

Losing +3.2M in a day is a disaster. This is a big no from people, American Oxygen/Sledgehammer teas lol

Damn. 4.3M is obviously still good but that is a huge drop.

The movie release will probably give it another boost.

It’s a Saturday update + Halloween week-end though, we will see on Tuesday

Halloween is obviously affecting this but it clearly had a big drop regardless, as it dropped several positions.

it's gonna stabilize arond 2.5M for some weeks I believe.

these are great numbers for a soundtrack song. be serious and compare this with songs like shallow, carolina, hold my hand, be alive and spirit and she outperformed basically all of them. people are gonna act like taylor ended rih with her lead single when in reality carolina (a soundtrack song) dropped 86 spots in its 2nd day.
