I swear you guys never argue with logic Sis what does that have to do with Spotify and AM charts, y’all can’t even keep your goalposts in place for 5 seconds

I swear you guys never argue with logic nothing you said makes any sense? since the mv stars two popular actors wouldn’t people have been busy watching that instead of streaming the song on spotify? you are right tho that we do not argue with logic hence why we are arguing with u

Numbers are numbers. Even when people didn’t release multiple “versions” of the same album, hardcore fans would buy multiple copies of the same album to support their faves. Mass purchases aren’t a new concept. Taylor just knows she has a base that does that and is catering to them so they at least can make the mass purchases more interesting and rewarding. Otherwise, every artist would pump out countless versions of the same album to break streaming records. But that’s not how it works. Taylor’s success is because she understands the game in the streaming era very well and keeps her fans fed so they remain loyal.

woohoo Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 The jealous rage in here. But in all seriousness if she does hit 1 million I think I know why. Since folklore she tapped into a lot of people who weren’t normal music listeners and where doing so because of covid and staying home, (my mother for example, and my niece) who have talked about it all day and which means she may have picked up a ton of causal listeners of all ages along with her massive fan base to result in these numbers. And it’s not just my family, on tiktok I’ve seen just as many older people discussing it as I have younger people. It’s not cool to hate Taylor anymore and it’s showing.
