It’s true tho :bibliahh:and not you trying to warn me when I literally DGAF about what a Taylor stan says to me, it goes in one ear and out the other just like her bland music. What I said still stands and they know it, the second week DECLINE CHILE!!!!

Amazing amazing sales, especially in the 2022 sales climate  well-deserved for the consistent quality she serves. i’m still holding out on purchasing a physical copy though - am hoping she’ll drop a 3am edition CD/ vinyl soon :coffee:

Oops (the song) is a staple of pop culture 20 years later. In 20 years will anyone remember any song from Midnights? Celebrate your fave's 20 copies being bought over and over by the same fans and keep Brit out of it, kthxbye

Britney is a fad nowadays, shutup

The album discussed in my post is strictly 25, released in 2015. Not other albums from early 2010s. I get why you would want to divert the attention away from 25, as it demolishes all of your fav's 1st week sales. Nice try though :swan:

Why keep bringing up and albun released 7 years ago? Bring up the latest release

But.....why Midnights? Where were they for Folklore, Lover, Evermore?  Especially with no hit single, how are this many people aware her album is even out?  People keep pointing to this magical "marketing", when SNL can't even get you to the top of iTunes in 2022.  Especially grown adults.  There is something going on here.

Nurse. Better replace Billboard then

Tomorrow: “HDD ‘Midnights’ 1.6-1.8M total”

Posted

I'm pretty confident at this point that she can make it to 1.5m. 955k sales so far means just 95k for the rest of the week combined get her to ~1.05m pure sales (she moved roughly 150k in the last two days). I'm thinking she can make it to 450k SEA. Negligible TEA to round off either of those if she misses the mark by a few thousand. Boom, 1.5m.

1.6m seems like a little bit of a stretch.

I hope she releases 4 variants of the 3AM edition on vinyl and keep the back cover the same with the clock. I’ve only purchased 2 variants for the standard. I’d prefer having 2 variants of the standard and 2 variants of the 3AM to form the clock instead of having 4 variants of the same album….

She can sell zero copies second week and she will still have bigger sales than the other girls.

Her 2nd week will still be bigger, i dont think you can laugh about that.

You should just buy the 4 of the standard at this point. You’re gonna have 4 of the same album regardless which versions. It’s just the 3AM one has a few more tracks tacked on

Hitting a million first week again after 5 years is a huge deal, not just for the industry, but for Taylor.
- This is her first album to do so with streaming in the equation as rep was only available through pure sales.
- she’s had 6 releases/eras since her last million opener (evidently ppl aren’t burnt out)

- she’s outdone even Adele and Drake

- she now can proudly say she’s the only artist to have FIVE albums open at number one and will very likely hold this record forever.

Taylor’s career is literally unmatchable
