Horrid singles choices coupled with the fact that it's a **** album from start to finish. A stain in her discography methinks

Lmaooo, it could sell 0 copies and still be the best selling album this year, the seconds best opening week AND more impressive than anything our faves have done :skull:

This is absolutely insane. Never in a million years did I think this was possible.

That Red rerecording reignited her entire career. A rerecording of a 10 year old album. Absolute insanity, I just don't even know what to say... :deadbanana4: I think the album is good, a little boring in parts, and I prefer more her poppier albums (1989, Lover) that have distinct, unique songs, where albums like this, Reputation, Folklore/Evermore tend to sound too similar from song to song. But clearly this is resonating with people like crazy.

Can't wait to see how it holds up comparatively, because Lover's longevity has also been astonishing.

That's genuinely wild. :deadbanana2:

Who cares?  She's already sold more in 3 days than some artists have in a month/year since their most recent release.

oh wow

the album grew on me so much, thanks to the (3am Edition), she's just another level of success

The way most Swifties thought 900k-1M was the absolute ceiling of what she could achieve, I...

One word. Unprecedented :hoetenks:

It's great news for the good sis, I genuinely thought it was going to do above 600k+ :clap3:However, I'm referring to the Britney stan in me if OIDIA gets placed down to #3 :priceless:

Ugh guys, sorry for the delay, I was.. sleeping. :rip:

Anyways, WHAT THE F*CK, she's doing this so effortlessly, it's ridiculous, feels like a dream.

How dare you think of resting during a Taylor release week

Even us fans predicted 800K at the maximum, and we aren't even 100% sure, and now she's predicted to sell twice as that. Truly unprecedented indeed.

You can't really her compare her career now vs. then. Folkmore and RED TV really set her up for this huge resurgence.

Red TV built on the momentum that Folklore created, that was the true turning point into her resurgence :psych:

Nothing wrong with OIDIA remaining the original standard, three legends in the top 3 :clap3:

Ohhhhhhhhh got it. Didn't think of that through that point of view. Britney will forever be legendary, so the #3 placement is not bad at all. She held that record for years.

She could drop by 100% and it would still be the best-selling and top 5 most-consumed album of the year in one week :fan:
