Jude Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Taylor is truly on another level and no one is touching her.
itsjem Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I'm actually really loving the few OTH trying o undermine this cause there's nothing left to say so it's just too funny, the nonsense - you know you don't HAVE to write something
ALA Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 If this is the initial estimate this has a good chance to be her best debut ever. Insane.
tost1 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 When will she finally flop?! This is becoming boring
LovatoK' Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Taylor is unstoppable. Maroon did that and you know it.
MingYouToo Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 the Dua Lipa, Camila and Gaga/Britney stans just saying ANYTHING at this point to discredit Taylord
LosingHimWasBlue Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 It's gonna be a rough week for taylor’s second fandom.

Dreajae Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Very unprecedented. There is no argument at this point. Many people said no one would ever touch 1 million ever again after Adele failed to do so. This will also likely be the last time anyone ever does so tbh.
Da Vinci Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Fact is the OTH have finally run out of drags that a HUGE GLOBAL fanbase that gives you 184 MILLION streams in a DAY is a BAD thing now WORMS for brains

Nova_23 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 some of the replies from the few OTHs are something else. all the excuses. trying to jump through hoops like a god damn acrobat to prove a point when you guys don’t have one. she dominates in sales. in streaming. in digital sales. if you want to claim her sales are fabricated (the delusion if you do) then please explain how her tours are always sold out…selling out stadiums with multiple dates in each city. how does one manage to put 60-70k in a stadium every night during a tour if they aren’t extremely popular and well liked by the GP? the way you guys try to twist and turn to try and diminish her success and yet she just gets bigger and bigger. grasping at straws now with the “no one knows a taylor swift song in the last 5 years,” as if reputation, lover (yes even that loser album), folkmore and RedTV haven’t been events themselves. You guys know you don’t have to write anything and can just stay out of this thread
futurenostalgic Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Gurl, I mean. IMO her only true dedicated haters are those who insecurely live through their own fave pop star. Just admit it. She has many casual listeners from any fanbase. Even those who have criticized her a bit. This was an event release. I couldn't believe the amount of people on my tl, who I've never heard utter anything about Taylor, suddenly coming out and posting her spotify links
DirtyPony87 Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 The meltdowns Keep it going. It’s so much fun to watch y’all suffer.
Taylor fanboy Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 American swifties you better be part of HERSTORY. I am forcing you to buy more. Taylor is too kind to your asses. BUY once, twice, complete the CD and vinyl clock, until we beat the Big Machine numbers.
Miles. Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 This is absolutely insane, she really IS the ******* music industry. I can’t believe we’re seeing a 1M+ debut in 2022. Unbelievable. She’s truly the biggest artist alive

Wait, did Evermore flop? Why did the public ignore her best album?
TheArgonaut Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I wonder how many units she has sold already? I guess on Monday we’re getting some figures.
Toxicity. Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Probably the last time we will ever see a 1M debut again. Everything was in Taylor's court this era to make it happen and looks like she did. This is Herstory.

Both streams and vinyl sales are constantly increasing, and Midnights is getting great reception

Cruel Summer Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 14 minutes ago, Mobility Mary said: Wait, did Evermore flop? Why did the public ignore her best album? Not exactly. It did fine, but will forever be notably lower in total consumption. It was hardly promoted at all and lived in Folklore’s shadow - but more importantly, no physical units at all were available for its first week. This led to the lowest debut of career since it was just streams and digital sales as well as a surprise release. She never pulled the same tricks she did to help Folklore get extra weeks at #1 and higher sales, and she even mentions the album so little that it caused a wave in the Swiftie community when she did some promo event for the All Too Well short film and said “and that was for an album called Evermore” in some sentence. Basically, her greatest album (at the time) is disrespected and neglected by Taylor Swift herself, tossed to the side like a scraped together B-sides cash grab and not the immaculate body of work that it truly is. A shame, a pity, a travesty, and a crime. Thankfully Ms. Swift has repented in giving adequate attention and planning to Midnights.
