And you think anyone knows any songs from evermore or folklore like that? :deadbanana4:  Can’t wait for all of them to name the lakes hurray!!!!

No they don't too much, it's true cuz they were't hits to the GP, but now everyone knows Sam Smith cuz on Unholy, so what? They are more popular than Adele or Taylor? It's just Bullshit.

Anyways, I’m exiting all Taylor threads from now on. I am indeed spreading tew much hate. And I am a kindness punk. I will see you on the playground :gaygacat1:

Bye. Hope you don't come back with this loser behavior to the next thread

Not this again, no one is forced to buy anything.

I know. But Taylor knows how much her fans crave validation from her. Rumour has it if you buy 10 copies you get in to tier 1 in Taylor’s cult.

Not the Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello Stan getting brave :jonnycat:

Dear Klein, do you honestly sit here and want me to believe that this woman, who hasn’t had a real hit since 2017, to not be pushed solely by her large fanbase? Do you really honestly think that if I went out on the street in the ten biggest music markets today and asked random Jane & John Doe’s if they know any recent Taylor Swift songs, that atleast 80 % of them would?

See this is the thing with Swifties… you can only argue with cold hard numbers to a degree.. you need to take off your stan glasses sometimes and OBSERVE. You know what I observe? That Taylor is indeed very popular. That people do know her name. But many people for the life of them can’t name any of her recent songs post-1989 (the last time she actually had global domination).

Keep hanging on to those first week and recurrent streaming numbers. Keep doing it if it helps you sleep better at night. I’m sure your life would fall apart if they weren’t present considering yall love to live vicariously through her.

The meltdown here…I can’t:deadbanana2:

What an stupid mental illness ******* need to find a job

Ofc streams is not important, sales is not important. The chart and recurrent streams doesn’t matter. They all can’t reflect the popularity of an artist. The only thing can judge an artist’s popularity is our ATRL user Love Again with her own twisted delusions. Ofc you will use that “GP” theory and act like her fan base is twice as big as the GP, and your fav is not a faceless “artist” whose success is heavily driven by playlisting payola. And I can tell you I also never heard anyone mentioned the name of Dua Lipa in my life, not even a single time. Now getting out of this thread and keep suffering from the success of an woman who have nothing to do with you, wow, what a loser

Also, just a kind, small reminder that Arian's Positions had MORE vinyl editions than this and still she sold... 35K. And that was after a peak era, so people can stay mad all the want.

Because Ariana has poor fans & Taylor has rich fans!!!!!!! What don’t you get??

I’m being sarcastic btw. This is the dumbest excuse I’ve ever seen across ATRL. :rip:

This is the truth but they will never admit to this. Their fanbase is simply just too big and shares a lot of fans with other fanbases, they are the sole reason for the streaming numbers. She really is no different than BTS.

There is still an extremely large partion of the GP (especially Gen X but also younger) who don’t know any of her songs but they are not on Twitter or social media so they are less visible

Well considering Havana and Senorita were bigger than ANY Taylor single, I wouldn't be surprised, especially outside the US. Not to mention Bam Bam being the most streamed single by a female in 2022, when was the last time Tay Tay had an actual hit? That cute lil soundtrack single with Zayn back in 2017? :dies:

Well by looking at their album sales it looks like a hit is not all that, right? It's almost as if people being interested in your entire body of work rather than just one song is more important. :fan:

Camila does not have an enormous rich  stanbase who are obsessed with their fave being #1 :coffee2:

BTS are the only comparable artist to Taylor, now that is the hard truth none of you want to admit cuz most of you stan only for success :doc:

Why are Demi fans replying in a thread about massive first week sales lol.

Doesn't need to be rich to get free streams, and Camila's streams are terrible. She doesn't have a fanbase period, nor does she have GP support.

Adele's 839k are legit. No massive stanbase to inflate the sales, the GP consumed her album. Meanwhile, you have Taylor and her rich stans buying all 20+ versions of her album and somehow you DARE to put her in the same sentence with Adele? :rip:

First day Spotify debuts

Midnights - +160M

30 - 65M

Looks like only one of them depends on pure sales and it is not Taylor.

Anyway,

Maybe 20% of the total projected units? I'll give her 250k from the GP. Seems quite generous on my part :)

that's still more than our favs total sales :rip:
