iconicyayo Posted February 7, 2023 Share Posted February 7, 2023 people trying to downplay gaga's touring numbers at the end of the day, the chromatica ball was one of the first global tours from a major pop star post-covid. call me delusional, but i bet some people would have been hesitant to get tickets due to years of cancellations and delays. even then, she sold out every date. and she doesn't exactly have the reliability beyonce has with her tours, especially in the UK where she hadn't successfully finished her UK leg since artRAVE in 2014, i believe. that being said, this is nothing to take away from beyonce's incredible demand for her tour. she is truly established as a reliable touring legend and these numbers are almost unfathomable. good on her Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They just don’t compare to what Bey can do. Her fans have been saying Beyoncé has been over for years and still trying it every day, they deserve all the lashings. Her concerts are masterpieces filled with imagery and deep meanings. Therefore, her stuff is not meant to appeal to the masses. Beyonce on the other hand, has a very basic image with songs that don't offend anyone. She is one of the safest popstars out there. She does have one or two moments where she actually dared to venture outside of her safe image, but the backlash was cancelled out by her POC status. Attending a Gaga concert is more like going to a Mozart concert while Beyonce is more like Magic Mic. Not everyone is going to appreciate good stuff, but does that mean it's not great?
