It's actually really bad that they force them in-person. Crunch time in the video game industry is brutal and I'm pretty sure R* pledged to eliminate it??? 

 

I would rather a delay. Rushed code is more likely to be broken than delayed code. Sims 4 is living proof of this.

You bring up a valid point! It's concerning that employees in the video game industry are being forced to work in-person during crunch time (it's bad also for other industries as well). Rockstar Games indeed pledged to address crunch time issues, so it's disheartening and kinda disappointing to hear reports contrary to that pledge. I also agree with you completely that rushing development can often result in poorer quality and more bugs. Personally speaking I'm also of the idea that: "the more you overdo, the worst you'll bring to the public". In the long run, a delay to ensure a smoother, more polished final product seems like a more prudent approach, but, at the same time, I really hope that we don't have to wait much longer!

As someone who aspires to work for Rockstar in the future, the news that theyre cracking down so hard on these devs is disheartening. They've had ten years to start developing this game and we better not get a shitty, buggy game next year because of "crunch time".Or i will be way more disappointed in 6 than i was with 4 in 2008.

My theory is that Jason & Lucia are an intentional remake of Claude & Catalina so I hope trailer #2 gives some more hints towards this 

A scene of "He drives, she shoots" would confirm my theory.

But I think trailer #2 will probably be focused on Jason.

It would be INSANE if suddenly a 3rd playable character is revealed in this trailer. I feel like that would probably be the best way to cause some serious buzz for the game at this point beyond a release date / map reveal.
