Better than its predecessor and wins points for some creative scares but still a T U R D :rip:

The concept of a period piece centered around a demonic nun holds great potential for genuine eeriness but the absurd storyline and hilarious mythology detracts from it being an effective horror film. Maybe they'll get it right the third time if they beg James Wan to write / direct. Wait for streaming.

5/10 (the first is a 3/10)

Valak ate it up, this one was more funny, violent, and beautifully shot than the first. I love that it even had like a silly Indiana jones subplot.

But this reaffirms that Valak > Flopbelle

And I’m here for the final showdown of Warrens vs Valak.

I loved it. Sure it’s not as good as the conjuring 1 or 2 or Annabelle creation but it had some really good scenes and some fun scares. A bit predictable but that’s what you expect from the franchise.

The second “villain” really got me WHEW. I was nervous!

Summed up my words. The screaming from Irene was 10/10 tho.
Miss Valak deserves so much more and that ending was beyond ridiculous. :bibliahh:

The Cumjuring might be the worst horror series of all time. How do you have 50 movies across entirely different plots and timelines and manage to make them all creatively bankrupt and forgettable?

At least we got Vegetabelle: Cremation out of it
