It's not that easy. You can't just bring a case to SCOTUS; cases have to go through several steps before getting to SCOTUS. I don't doubt a case will eventually make it there, but it'll be a while.

For those that don't know:

• Obergefell is for same-sex marriage legalization
• Griswold is for contraceptions being accessible without government permission
• Lawrence is for outlawing anti-sodomy laws (i.e., gay sex)

Frankly, we're at the point where we need to realize electing Democrats doesn't do anything. Not even to dog on the Democrats too much, but we need to start organizing our economic power to boycott corporations that fund Republicans. If Disney send money to Republicans for tax cuts, then the economic supermajority needs to cancel their Disney+ subscriptions, going to Marvel movies, etc. Until we start communicating with our dollars, nothing will change. Electoralism isn't accomplishing anything. Sure, vote for Dems to block Republicans but we need to do more.

Just a suggestion that you may just want to retitle the thread title to "States banning abortion" and update the OP as each one comes because the next dozen or so are likely to fall in the next few hours and the mods probably won't want a thread per state  

 

I'd do it for the original thread on the Roe ruling but the OP was transferred to another poster.

It's crazy that a party that hasn't won the popular vote since the 80s is responsible for setting us back so far so quickly.
