With a Friday release with promo before release, Apple promo and billboards and a MV. 

 

The vogue cover didn't even mention the single. Talk about REACHING.

 

As many people have said the GP doesn't care about a month old leak. The GP ain't twitter and that excuse doesn't fly when other songs have leaked and succeed better than SL.

I'm really not here for anyone bringing up Adele. Especially with how her album is doing now after 6 months and a failed residency.

 

It's very sad how bad people want Beyonce to lose and be discredit her career. She's been through the physical, digital and now streaming era and has #1 hits in 4 different decades! She's literally been doing it longer than all of atrls current faves.

 

After all the trash talk about Beyonce hiding behind Tidal and other artists for a hit, here she is with a SOLO song debuting top 5 globally on various platforms during a midweek release  that was very short notice. Not to mention stans deliberately leaking her song and forcing her to release 2 hours early on Tidal and YouTube!

Stan’s and music fans do care about month old leaks. A huge driver of day one streams, especially for artists like Beyoncé and Gaga who have big core bases, is fan engagement. Monsters had heard Stupid Love for a month, and a half of them didn’t use the song by the time it dropped officially. If the gp cared at all about beyonce dropping a new song her numbers would resemble Adele’s or Harry’s, people who the GP check on in 2022.

Just like everyone’s ignoring that they’re not even peers so Gaga should be doing better since Beyoncé debuted 5 years before her as a solo artist, 9 years before overall, is 40 and isn’t coming from a supposed “repeak”
