Song of the summer contender "Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)" ties for 4th most added song on Pop radio with 23 adds. It also received 13 from HAC, 6 from Alternative, 3 from Triple A and 2 from AC.

Yeah I don't get it. Clearly the label has been capitalizing on this Kate resurgence, releasing the remix to all platforms seems like an easy one that could've helped snag the #1.

First of all, where is the single thread? I cannot find it if someone can link it???

 

Second question. Does anyone know who I can reach out to via email or social media to fix lyrics on a song on Apple Music? Around the 2:15 minute mark it has “See if I only could” twice in error. Just thought I’d help fix it if someone knows.

 

Lastly, to stay on topic, this is slaying Spotify!!!

It’s so frustrating because it’s not even like it’s flopping on airplay, it’s just competing with songs with massive airplay totals. Maybe airplay’s weight needs to be reduced after all :rip:

This is technically the single thread, you won't find it on the Music section because this isn't a new release, thus it does not apply.

I am usually a defender of the presence of radio in the popularity measurement, but yeah, I think it's time to reduce its weight compared to the low consumption (sales + streams) in general.

Yeah I've always been a big defender of radio on the H100 as well, and I still don't think it should be removed entirely, but a song that has a commanding lead in sales and all forms of streaming compared to its main competition for #1 should not be losing because it "only" has 30+ million radio audience :rip: If RUTH had less than 10 million AI, I'd get it, but the gap between RUTH and AIW will probably only be around 40 million by the end of the tracking week, and I don't think that should be enough to carry AIW to the #1 when RUTH is so easily outperforming it in every other metric.

Yeah, let's say we're fine with it going Top 3 at this point. I mean, either way I'm more than pleased, this has been probably one of my favorite times to follow the charts ever, all this resurgence has been so unexpected and fascinating to witness.

#3 is still amazing. 

i mean its obviously #1 biggest song of this week with most sales & streams. 

 

another reason to cancel radio at this point. its just too pointless.
