Of course that Metallica song had a bigger boost when way more people were already streaming and introduced to RUTH.

 

But until it outstreams RUTH and is being played on radio like a 2022 song it’s not overshadowing anything :skull: 
 

Anyway, even if it doesn’t go #1 I’d be happy with it going Top 3

I wonder if it has to do with the long weekend, some stations tend to make specials and play throwback songs mostly. Haven't followed Alt these lastest days tho. It's a thing in general for all the songs charting. 

 

The funny thing is that... RUTH has the 4th highest audience on the format right now, even though it's at #14 base on TW spins.

Wait a damn minute, RUTH is already on Power Rotation on 4 Pop stations, receiving at least 110+ spins/week (an average of 16 times played per day): KBFF-FM (Portland), KLLY-FM (Bakersfield), WARQ-FM (Columbia, SC) and WNCI-FM (Columbia, OH). WNCI-FM gets the 2nd highest ratings for a Pop station in a specific market. Truly amazed, keep going please!
