I've stanned Queen Kate since I was 8 and my dad would play Hounds of Love in the car... One thing I love about the TikTok era is seeing forgotten/overlooked works be resurrected into modern hits.

Kate hasn't been seen in public since 2014. All us Bushies get is her annual Christmas message on her website.

I always thought Hounds of Love was an album that came out in the 2010s that the gays and ATRL overhyped because the album cover is still modern. I listened to the album one day and the way my jaw dropped when I saw “1985” under the title 

 

This was after I had heard Wuthering Heights too

Btw Hounds of Love did ~8.2M yesterday so some people are checking other songs too  Hope this paves the way for her music to be more used in the media, Cloudbusting really deserves the same justice. Let me not even start on The Sensual World tracks

Her songs have been used a lot lately. Cloudbusting and A Woman’s Work both were in Handmaids. 
 

She will continue to have good streams now. It’s going to be in the finale so another boost around July.

She solo wrote and solo produced her Fourth album (The Dreaming) and all the subsequent ones (Hounds, Sensual World...)

The second and the third she co-produced with Jon Kelly or Andrew Powell
