Do you want to get married and/or have kids?

 

Just seeing what ATRL’s views are on this, I’m not sure I want either personally.

Would you be able to add an age-range option to this poll? I feel the results might be skewed depending on age of voters, which would be interesting to note.

I would love to get married and have a child, It would be a dream if I could find my soulmate and share the rest of my life with him. I would preferably like to get married by around 35 and have children by around 40. I'm 20 now so It's still a ways away though.

I could but it would make the poll a bit messy, especially since some people have now already voted.

 

Maybe it would be better if people who comment state their ages so we can get an overall idea

I want the happines that comes with marriage and kids but the cost and challenges discourage me.

I'd only marry if my partner and i have been together for years and solely for the legal benefits. 2 witnesses and a judge and that's it. Im not feeding 200 people I don't really like, I'd rather spend that money on a nice trip.

 

Kids is a no from me. I would however raise underage relatives if it came to it but i'd see it as a duty to them more than anything else.

i'm pretty sure i don't want children. i know i'm young and might change my mind but tbh i love money, silence, and freedom. having children is the worst thing that can happen to your hobbies and social life. i would love to have grandchildren and niblings though.

Yes for both, having kids is the most crucial things to happen for our next generations as well as lifetime partner.

I want to have a meaningful relationship and a partner who I am there for him and he is there for me always. And I want to raise children and help them have a better life so I left something behind me once I die, to know I played a factor on the next generation and put roof over their head and hopefully a happier and easier life

When I was younger, one of my dreams was to have children. At this point in my life I see it as impossible. I am content with having my two nephews, though.

Marry if my bf wants to, I'm indifferent to marriage, but unlikely to kids.

 

The only way I'd have kids is if we adopt a teenager(s) who isn't full dependent and even then probably not as I'd be scared to let them leave the house, this country is a mess.

Kids - not sure. I love my nephew and nieces and would love to have my own, but are we at the point where kids won't get bullied for having 2 dads?

Idk about marriage, but I would like to adopt a 6-7 yo kid when I'm 40 or above.
