Beyoncé has been outselling Britney ever since CIL intro hit the waves :cm:

Wasn't that also the same year you signed up to ATRL?

But her image was already on decline, it was her fourth album in a span of 5 years. People get tired of you. Beyoncé was the new solo artist. Honestly is not comparable, we can’t compare both albums.

Certainly, but I was not arguing that it should have sold as much as DIL, just that using excuses like "it had tons more promo, it lasted twice as long, it had more singles" isn't true.

Outrageous wasn’t released in my country for example. The last single with live tv performances and a music video was every time

Okay but even using only WW singles, that's still just 1 single less and 209 days between first and "last" single. Still not double the length of the era, and in America since Outrageous was a single, it doesn't really change much.

To be fair, B just had as much album as Brit during DIL (with DC). Brit's image is on a decline; so does B, people forgot that she was the most hated during DC, she got blamed for what happen during DC and certainly people were not happy with her going solo and for her to go solo, it can either be successful or backfiring. Thank God the latter didn't happen. There's an article written comparing her to Ashanti also.

This!

That Ashanti's first album debuted with 500K+ to Beyoncé's 300K+ despite being a name in the industry already shows that her success was not necessarily granted. And it should be noted that Beyoncé's debut had less than half the first week sales of DC's last album.

I'll give it to them though that Beyoncé definitely had a chance to put forth a fresh image that Britney didn't on her fourth image unless she completely reinvented. Beyoncé on the other hand had a moment to declare who she was without having to "reinvent".

But having a debut era as jam-packed with hits, sales, impact, acclaim, awards, and even being offered the Super Bowl Half-Time show with 1 album under your belt...that's legendary.

+ duet with Luther Vandross and performing with Prince. But ATRL will still pretend that Beyoncé is just another Camilla Cabello. (Also previously she performed with Celine Dion singing Emotion and around 2007-08 she performed with Tina Turner then proceed with playing roles as Etta James; Interestingly, she previously played the role as Diana Ross in Dreamgirls)

Let's not forget she had Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Bono and Barbra Streisand honoring her when she won the Millennium award. There's a reason she's so respected in the industry: talent, hard work and dedication. :clap3:

IIRC, she performed three times at the Oscar at the same night; performed with Hugh Jackman too. I also heard she performed twice at the GRAMMYS 2004 (let's not forget she performed at the SUPERBOWL four times and the Inauguration twice too).

And ? :rip:

She's the one to blame, nobody asked her to get married in Vegas, nobody forced her to Marry that traiwreck of Kevin Federline.

Beyoncé met a lot of backlash during the 00s too but had the strength to overcome this.

That’s Britney’s own fault though. No one asked her to release that often that people got sick of her.

:ahh:

Beyoncé is not responsible for somebody else's life decisions. Beyoncé herself had family and collegues' problems to deal with

Lady Gaga had a health problem and people going against her but I don't see her asking sympathy. Instead she worked her ass off during Joanne-ASIB and earn the respect from the industries. Rihanna almost went bankrupt and now she's a billionaire.

1. Xtina released more often than Britney from 98-03

2. the GP wasn’t against her but legends Mariah, her now charity friend MJB, Eminem, DC and amongst others, were. And they have a lot of influence in the business

1. She obviously did not release more regular studio albums than Britney :rip:

2. Eminem dissed everyone including Britney and he even called Britney garbage. DC had no problem with Christina herself and Beyoncé herself has praised Christina many times. Let’s not forget influential legends like Lil Kim and Timbaland being against Britney

1. Britney studio albums 99-03: 3

Xtina studio albums 99-03:2

Movie soundtrack singles + Spanish album + Xmas album + many features. Xtina absolutely released constantly more than Britney, period.

2. Eminem admitted he had a crush on Britney. He annihilated xtina. Xtina certainly had issues with DC since she would kick them out of her dressing room. lil kim got left in 2001 with x. Timbaland was nasty towards Britney. He deserved what Britney did to him. Or didn’t do, actually.

1. Britney released 4 albums, including 3 teen pop albums

Christina released 2 albums, and only 1 teen pop album

And that’s the bottom line. Even XtianlofBritney isn’t delusional as you to argue against that :rip:

2. Eminem had a crush on Christina and their issue was more about her speaking out against the domestic violence glorified in his music, which she rightfully did since she and her family are survivors of domestic abuse

Meanwhile, Eminem definitely annihilated Britney

“I'm anti-Backstreet and Ricky Martin

with instincts to kill N'Sync, don't get me started
These f***^brats can't sing and Britney's garbage”

Christina never kicked DC out anywhere, her team doing that when she wasn’t there didn’t make them have hard feelings against her, since Beyoncé has praised her many times after.

Lil Kim is a Legend and she rightfully called out Britney for being nasty to her on two different instances. Timbaland only gave Britney a taste of her own medicine after she was nasty to him first

Right ?

As if the others never met people in the industry that wanted to control them or scam them. There's always someone to blame for Britney situations but never her :skull:

Beyoncé father stole money from her for years and you never saw her whinning and having meltdowns over it, at least not in public.

8 pages and the army barely argue with numbers. Come on, where are the Hot 100 stats? BB200 stats? Forbes? Touring numbers? Awards/GRAMMYS? Streaming numbers? Digital sales? Ringtone sales? Acclaim? Movie gross? Just provide any numbers to prove your argument.

This is not to shade, but you literally just described atrl in an nutshell. brit base has less pages than kelly clarkson's, i believe. But she will landslide any poll and they grossly inflate her receipts. i believe they argued last year she was bigger than bey in uk cause mtv uk played cricus mv more or smthn :toofunny3:
