8thPrince Posted July 2, 2022 Share Posted July 2, 2022 First I just wanna say congrats to @Jackson cuz you’ve been playing these games since even before I started way back in PH7 and it’s nuts we get to tie as winners on this one you consistently smashed each round and I was sweating trying to predict how this would go. I do have to admit my R6 song partially exists cuz I wanted to at least tighten up the lead you had on me (There were multiple concepts but this one I was thinking “yeah maybe this could beat Jackson”) you’re a great competitor and songwriting friend and just for my thoughts… I’ve been trying to win an ATRL songwriting game for the longest I’ve gotten eliminated via non submission more than ranking out im pretty sure? So I’m happy I got to finally write a finale song first of all. And for that to be the round’s #1/help me win the season? Cherry ( ) on top. This song almost didn’t happen and I was so conflicted about what to write (I almost went for Nothing), but in the end, I knew I had to finish with this particular song and submit it. I’m glad I did! Thank you of course to the judges for the amazing season/format. now that I’ve snagged my white whale and finally won a season, do I hang up my competitor hat, or do I go for a solo win next? ?Time will tell! Round 5 really tanked me. I could have won the whole game if I’d gotten a 9+ in that round. Forgot I tied with 8thPrince in round 1. That’s cute!
