Her stans wouldn’t care; evermore is her least successful album and it’s nearly universally beloved by the fanbase. Stans would probably just disappear from atrl / other pop sites to avoid the lashings, which would give the impression of us abandoning ship; trust that we’d still be enjoying the music and selling out the stadium tour even if we weren’t online for you to see us doing it.

Her fans won't disappear but 80% of Swifties on ATRL would cause there would be nothing to brag about.

That would never happen but even then flopping on her 10th album 16 years into her career would be a sign of an unmatched longevity

as someone who doesn't like her music... nothing would happen. she's already had enormous success and achieved everything there is to be achieved in the music industry. she'll stay rich and her fanbase will keep her afloat for the rest of her life.

 

there would definitely be meltdowns on ATRL and tbh I'd kii at Swifties too, but in reality she has nothing to prove to anyone

she has like the largest and most loyal fanbase ever so it’s not likely, tho it would be interesting. i’d live for a phoenix rising from the ashes moment from her.

I think Taylor flopping is impossible because she has such a devoted fanbase. Even if she lost all general public support, her fanbase is so humongous that they could easily get her #1 album and song with moderate competition (even though it would be fleeting). I mean look at Evermore and Folklore, no offence but the average person on the street probably would not be able to give you 3 songs for either of those albums, and yet they where still commercially successful because of how strong and dedicated her fans are.

The only way Swifties will abandon her if she releases album full with garbage like ME!. Majority will stay as long as as the music is masterpiece. For example, evermore can be considered big underperforming but the music is immaculate hence majority still loyal which explain an increase in Red TV debut sales.

oh wait this. Give me an album of Me! will def not buy; Lover was low key hard to buy cause it's her worst album (few highlights for sure); but she made it up with folklore and evermore for sure!

OT: I don't think she will have a commercial bomb ala artpop or bionic this decade. Maybe in her 40s but still it's very unlikely considering that she had 4 albums sell 1m first week and another 2 800k openings. Even evermore which is her worst performing album will have at least 5m units in the long run.

I don’t think anyone would care as long as the music is good? You could argue evermore is an underperformance for her but I think most swifties have it in their top 3 rankings. The thing is even if her next album would flop, people just go back to streaming her other albums. Her entire discography is a classic so in the end she always wins.

Taylor  has a lot of momentum from Red TV and even some from Evermore

 

Her current momentum has essentially guaranteed that TS10 will be a hit

 

Now if TS10 fails to have longevity after it’s initial success and/or the other TVs fail to live up to expectations then TS11 could bomb, but she’s good to go for TS10
