not cynthia doing all the nudity scenes for the team:ahh:

First episode was great, second not so much but they mentioned Bethany Frankel (and TS possibly? You on your own kid?)

Are we saying goodbye to Che this season?

I just fast forward through the Che/Miranda scenes.

I audibly gasped at the sensory deprivation tank. :deadbanana2: Charlotte was topless as well though!

I can't recall Charlotte being topless. Just remember the scene where her husband injects her ass. lol

I think it was the first episode of season two, during the sex montage between all the couples. Charlotte was topless and you could see nipples. Miranda is the only one to go full on naked so far though.

this feels so glossy and contrived, i watched the first episode last night and almost fell asleep

this show has lost its magic and should never have been made

samantha's exit really impacted the show, the storylines and the direction they took the series in does not work, and the addition of these new (awful) characters ruins everything

everything has just become so annoying and watered down imo and there's no spark to the dialogue

i don't really like any of the characters

it's so obvious that they're pushing seema as the new samantha, which is a crime

they've also ruined some of the legacy characters, miranda is dead and gone

anthony is so annoying

i don't even recognise carrie anymore

someone please cancel this show before i have an aneurysm

kim cattrall is one wise woman for jumping off this sinking ship, until she went and made glamorous :bibliahh:

Yeah I watched the first two eps and agree it's just mid now, my issue is there's too many new characters, two couples need to be dropped and Seema needs to not be pushed as Sam 2.0 because she's not. Also the writing for the kids' storylines is *surprise surprise* still awful and their lines are still lowkey cringe. The show had magic when the main four interacted with each other more and went out together, I don't care for the issues of the new ladies unfortunately and the show is still trying to find its sea legs developing their arcs. At least they dropped the stupid podcast idea quickly.

Miranda's arc is so weird, all of a sudden she's super self conscious and questions everything and it just feels like too much of a 180, regardless of her forage into being queer being the excuse.

Started episode 1 but had to take a break after the annoying Che scene where they don't like the outfit or the blue streak in their hair. Why are they so annoying?

I don't care for the documentary filmmaker (her storylines are so dull), but she ATE crossing the street in her red dress :sistrens: Best shot of the episode for sure.

First ep was good. Second was OK. There's too much fodder with the new friends I fear and I really hate what they're doing with Miranda. She better be back in NYC soon.

I didn't have much expectations for this new season - considering how bad was the first one - so it is not a surprise that second season is also quite bad. Clumsy, poorly developed stories, insufferable characters without depth, and so.

This Vogue's tribute to Sex and the City makes me wonder how amazing And Just like That could be if they kept the wit and vivacity from the original series

I finally watched the first two episodes of the new season. I am convinced that the writers are trolling us on purpose with all these Che/Miranda love scenes. :ahh:

no, the writers honestly think those scenes are great. and if you don't like them, then you are against non-binary people (according to cynthia nixon and sara ramirez).

Enjoying this season so far.

I don’t get the massive hate for Che? Like I don’t love them but I just feel like whatever.

i actually enjoyed this? laughed a few times, didn't feel the cringe AT ALL compared to season 1.

the only bad writing was the blow dryer thing. Seema would never go to some cheap salon they really messed that up.

if i were to manage all these side character plots:

keep Che (yeah they're annoying but they are the core of the show more than Carrie is)

keep Anthony, Nya, Seema

Axe Lisa and everyone's children. Not here for Charlotte's daughter turning into Rosé :deadbanana:

Seema is the only interesting new character

I loved Seema in the first season but have been underwhelmed with her so far in this season. IMO she has the hottest love interest though so I hope she gets back with him. :gaycat2:

I was excited for Carrie's podcast so I'm a little disappointed that they ended it already. The podcast producer was also cute but they didn't seem to have chemistry so I'm excited for her to date other guys.

The biggest weakness of the season so far is too many main characters, there's way too many plots for me to follow or care about. :skull:

Show sucks. But stream chemistry. Support talent.

Kim Cattrall is such a queen :ahh:

Spoiler

not only did they pay her for a phone call without SJP or Michael Patrick King, she also got their iconic designer Patricia Field back for this scene only - as she should, their fashion game is mid

It’s a shame this still hasn’t seem to have found it’s footing. They’ve made Seemas character a bit annoying and Samantha adjacent with her attitude, when last season she seemed to have her own identity.

Che and Miranda are stupid and unlikable. LTW is still a terrible character with no depth, and Nya hasn’t been in any scenes with the other cast.

Did anyone else not like how in the first episode they treated their one gay friend as expendable, it felt like the ignorance from the old season, and yet still an accurate representation of how many woman place their gay male friends below their female friends.
