NINGNING: I loved Frank Ocean’s performance at Coachella [in 2012] and watched so many clips of other artists. Words can’t describe how excited I am to be on the exact stage that I’ve watched as a fan growing up. I hope Frank Ocean would release a new album soon!

Their reaction when the song came on  I honestly think they weren't invited to Queendom because MNET was scared. They knew that Insomnias would go HARD for them. So they put in Kepler who have a total of 2 songs, and poor TXT's little sister is complaining about the lack of support from what she thought was their immense global fanbase.

Well, yes it's true that SM lied about aespa. And that's kind of tacky.

 

However, isn't all mediaplay like that? Companies desperately trying to make their group something they're not by choosing their words carefully to straight up lie? And if you fall for it, you fall for it and it's on you? It's just the way Kpop is I guess. Fake it and lie and hopefully you'll make it... Can't just knock SM for it.

I really hope they play their cards right, especially with Rei. She has so much potential. The group has a lot of potential too.

 

Don't count out Itzy though. I feel like they have a lot more to give. JYP just has to go to the drawing board when it comes to music.

k-pop stans often dismiss real achievements as media play but we're not allowed to laugh at lies

You're right, ITZY has a pretty loyal fandom, out least outside of Korea. Loco and MITM did quite well globally.

I don’t have anything against aespa and I like them and their music…. but these SM stans and their superiority complex is honestly one of the most annoying things in this site.

Not you quoting me when I'm actually a huge BLACKPINK stan and went to their tour while praising their songs often on this forum. Fine, I was wrong. Still looking forward to my queens aespa.
