Winner is bigger than GOT7 no doubt, and Treasure are pulling a Stray Kids with their career. They could easily beat SK with a viral song.

The only reason Treasure was able to sell more in their debut year compared to SKZ is because of the general growth of the Kpop market though. 

 

SKZ in their 2nd year: Blew up with "God's Menu" and "Back Door"

they had a successful tour in the US and other countries 

and since you mentioned it, they're actually in the US right now for a K-Pop festival happening

"Just right" is more known and has more streams than "Really Really" which is Winner's biggest hit.

None of these made any waves in Korea at all. GOT7 had something of a decent following internationally and were largely carried by that support. The best-received attempt they’d probably ever made in Korea was with Just Right, and I’m still not even sure that ever charted.

 

Really, Really was perhaps one of the very few national hits achieved by a BG in the third gen (I’d even put it on par with Love Scenario), and they had one or two big hits that followed, as well. It’s no competition at all. The reason GOT7 probably felt bigger was because they had a few popular members.

YG is really struggling these days. They are lucky to have BP and somewhat TREASURE, otherwise they would've gone bankrupt. Winner and ikon are over and BP alone cannot feed a whole company I fear. The only way for YG to build a strong roster again is to bring back 2NE1 and BIGBANG and debut Baemon as fast as possible and disband the actual flops of the company. Like I can't believe YGLY really disbanded 2NE1 while holding on to Winner and iKon for his dear life who are nowhere near the level of 2NE1  This man truly hate women I swear, and he probably hates the fact that he has to rely on BP so much, since they are the main bread winners.

The fact that we all know that if he had to pick between BP and TREASURE he would pick TREASURE over BP any day with his ungrateful misogynistic a$$.

We should've expected the downfall of the company ever since he disbanded 2NE1 and would rather keep some mid boy groups instead of actual legends. 

 

Imagine if YG consisted of Blackpink + 2NE1 + BIGBANG + Treasure + Baemon

Idk why yall keep bringing up aespa with BLACKPINK's sales but

 

Born Pink regular album is $50 and the digipacks are $20

aespa digipacks are $11 and the regular albums are $20

 

you also can't tell me aespa are more known in the West than BP  I love both but please be serious

 

and as for TWICE outselling them, this will forever be a mystery to me

 

blackpink might really be flopping in the west but its what YG deserves for always bragging about the pinks but is the most incompetent company out there
