Korean chose whatever idols would they like. Minnie started to get popular only this year.
Rei, sana, Kazuha are loved while knetz hate Sakura and Giselle. 
Lisa get racist remarks that’s literally why she’s the least popular in Korea. 
let’s not even talk about Chinese idols. Ningning got mentioned in a new jeans post when it has nothing to do with her in the first place while korean will praise Yuqi

Entertainment is kinda the same, it’s catered to your tastes  I’m not bashing Yeonjun btw. But you can’t really brag about someone trending with 67k tweets when I see different kpop idols trend on my page everyday with way more and some of them are not even widely known outside of their fandoms. I’ve been seeing my fave Katy trend at random times with 40k tweets and when i go inside it’s just the same stans mass posting. And we all know she ain’t that relevant nowadays to trend without releasing anything.
Right now as I’m typing this, I’m seeing a guy called Renjun trend with 100k but I don’t even know anything about him, is he in NCT? Can he be considered an it boy? 
yeah you just know how Twitter works after a while. It’s not that big of a deal.

Speaking of visuals, Isa from STAYC is probably the prettiest idol ever omg  She looks like Karina, but a prettier version which should be impossible, since we all know about Karina's visual as well. The way everything about Isa screams it-girl even more so than these official it-girls:

She was literally crying on live not too long ago saying how she’s exhausted and is not getting enough sleep and food etc. So I hope it’s paying off.

Honestly looking at this, the debut songs have been pretty good overall.. the only turds are pO.Op and WA DA DA
Dalla Dalla is still the best overall imo if we factor in performance and stage presence/energy 
Top 3 songs are So Bad (they peaked with debut i fear but wow what a moment ), Fearless (grower of the year) and Dalla Dalla
Attention (Hype Boy outsold tho) and Eleven (underrated and way better than Bore Dive and After Like) are really good aswell tho!

Replace Fearless with Attention and that’s the top 3 for me 

but among the popular 4th gen ggs, idk why they didn’t put GIDLE here, because Latata is THAT banger

I honestly think if SM debuts a new 5-6 member boy group unrelated to NCT and without NCT unlistenable music, they'll be a hit with the GP. 

 

Would love for them to have a light pop rock sound like this instead of noise pollution

And she has a beautiful voice! Her solo on the bridge of Stereotype is probably the best moment in their excellent discog.

I’m annoyed that none of them have blown up for their visuals OR their talent. Come on Koria.
