I wonder if there's a universe where Flame actually took Joyride off the ground and was part of the album .The ad campaigns and story arc on Empire feel like a fever dream. I truly do want to know what all the could've-been Joyride tracklists were. I would have wanted the version with Prisoner and/or Anything Goes to come out

Indie Go Mind Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Dina LaPolt interviewing Tinashe on finance. I'm very happy that they are close. Tinashe needs legal guidance for most in this industry considering so many contract could eventually lean against her.

I would have wanted the version with Prisoner and/or Anything Goes to come out Some of the songs on Nightride such as Sacrifices, Soul Glitch, Ghetto Boy, Ride of Your Life, Party Favors and Touch Pass were intended to be on the original version of Joyride (2015). Energy with Juicy J and Joyride (title track) with Travis Scott and No Contest were intended for that version as well. I think there was also a revision on the tracklist in 2016 as Company came from the same sessions as Superlove and made the cut for Nightride. Flame may have came from the 2015 sessions too considering how dated it sounded.

Kehlani’s videos are good too Loved when she said her idea of success could change she still wants it Edited October 6, 2022 by orange22
Indie Go Mind Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Songs for You getting some love. (Now if Nightride could only get this love as well.)

nuclear Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 Tinashe apparently did a song for the soundtrack for marlon Wayne Halloween Netflix movie

This is actually a nice segue to my comment; I love how radiant and happy Tinashe has been (or appears to be). She's been GLOWING in some of her recent candids/IG posts: https://www.instagram.com/p/CjmPAHTLRDI/ https://www.instagram.com/p/Cji7psTPP1g/ Going independent has been so good for her I hope she doesn't sign onto a label in the future. I would be very wary if I were her.
