Since it's pretty much confirmed she's filming the making of these TVs, I'm so interested to see this part of the process, where she's done with the product but all these lawsuits are holding things up for Speak Now and 1989. She must be fuming that her rollouts were ruined for this year :rip:

Listening to a Spotify podcast and I fear we will never have the Sony songs on the Debut TV, most notably Songs About You, This Is Really Happening, Being With My Baby, AND Closest to A Cowboy.

I thought there for a little while

every sunset, I’ll be riding off next to him

SNAP! Buttons on a denim shirt

Blue jeans, and a little dirt

That’s the closest you’ll see me

FEET! hanging at a pick up truck

Crazy, and a little rough

Running freeee

That’s the closest to a cowboy you’ll see me

Closest To a Cowboy

Which one? What makes you say that?

I wonder if she has any idea how hyped up people are for Nashville ... That and DBT def need to be released (though the former was, I believe, Fearless). But like ... Those are the only two songs that have any potential at building momentum for TS TV lmao

Is this real? @Buffy @ahauntingnearu

NOT We Were Happy being on here, if true. :deadbanana2:

I don't THINK this is one of the real ones ... But it's been a while.

”written when I was the age of 16 and 18, these were the ones it killed me to leave behind.”

So We Were Happy is possibly the FIRST Fearless song written (or Debut reject).

It’s just a swiftie podcast when I tried to search and play Closest To a Cowboy from Spotify. :eli:

Just a small group of fans discussing, doubting these songs are eligible for TV, because so far, we have none from her time in Sony/Sony ATV.

Nashville is a Sony song too, however, I can’t be hyped about something I’ve never heard before.

Curious, Counsel @beagle how common that contracts from her songwriting stints, would allow her to re-record? Just for example the ones she did under Sony ATV?

One was recorded and released by another act.

If this reddit thread is accurate, these are the “Sony” songs, and the amazing That’s When has been released.

So annoying, just want these TVs to be all out already, it’s easier to complain what is not released, than wait and anticipate.

SONY SONGS-RCA DEAL (2004): Brought Up That Way (Acoustic), Me & Britney (Acoustic), Nashville (Acoustic), R-E-V-E-N-G-E (Studio), Ten Dollars & A Six-Pack (Studio), That's When (Acoustic), This Is Really Happening (Acoustic), Under My Head (Acoustic), Wait For Me (Studio x2), Welcome Distraction (Studio)

Possibly. I’ve never seen it but We Were Happy (piano acoustic demo) was recorded during the same session as an early Tim McGraw demo. They both use the same chords if my memory serves me correctly. Her vocals on WWH piano acoustic are superrrr young. Definitely pre-Fearless and more debut era.

I just realized that country music in general is in such a bad commercial state that, even after having mostly left the genre for six years besides a track here or there, Taylor has probably been the biggest female country artist in consumption terms for several years running now :gaycat6:

I saw a breakdown of her soundtrack singles a few days ago and was shocked since it got almost 200M, I had no idea... was it not taken off since it's not under bmr during the boycott?
