And then "rest" for a few months so the hype can resurge. Her catalog will keep doing insane numbers thanks to the Tour And today is presale EU day.

This whole process is making her the most successful artist in the world (by a mile) and the only issue is that her catalog is overshadowing the new releases and they cannibalize each other streams. Slowing down is the smartest thing she can do commercially. it’s already been established that (regardless of the incoming slayage of streaming numbers) this release lost a bit of steam compared to the reception of other ones. a couple of reviews have picked up on this too. spreading out the TVs until 2026 like some are suggesting is completely unhinged. while that may be the best move commercially according to you, people will be completely over them by then. And who knows where Taylor will be culturally by then too. Releasing the Taylor’s Versions while being on tour is the smartest thing she could do, there’s a prefect synchronicity in that strategy imo. Of course i’m not saying she needs to drop the next rerecording next month sis, but another one in Q4 this year and the two remaining ones next year is the smartest move. another 2 year wait for the next one is too much. 1 2

And you are right! 1989 before the LATAM leg, Reputation before the European leg, and Debut at the end of the tour. TS11 in 2025.
Magickarp Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Why did Hack pop OFF with You're Losing Me? His subdued productions like YLM, Dear Reader, MR >>>>>>>>>>>> Or maybe it was miss Swift's lyrics, cuz this is peak "Do something, babe, say something" "Lose something, babe, risk something" "Choose something, babe, I got nothing To believe Unless you're choosin' me" AND her delivery was so heartbreakingly emotional sucks she can't replicate the heartbroken sassy teen emotions on SNTV tho Joe finally inspired a good song, & miss clown hid it away just like HD.
Emil Larsen Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 @Klein Do you know what happened to Peterstyle13? I miss that member so much!
Taylor fanboy Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Reminder to Red stans, your fave issa scarf meme. Speak Now is a globally renowned solo written album. A Jester next to a King, the royalty will, you know, devour the joke! 1

Kyle-x Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Before Speak Now TV came out everyone here was saying "it's going to be a lowkey one like Fearless TV it won't be a huge thing" and now that that has come true everyone is like "Speak Now TV is a lowkey event. Why?"

HeavyMetalAura Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I could be wrong, but I feel like 1989 is the only remaining TV that will be a major "event." Tbh, that album is so iconic and loved that if she treats it like a new album and gives it a proper campaign it could become the first album to sell one million first week with two different recordings. That being said, I don't think most people care that much about reputation TV or self-titled compared to the other four albums. I think next year should be all about 1989, give it some room to breathe, and then in 2024 she should drop reputation and self-titled within six months of each other to wrap it up because yeah, I don't think the hype over re-recorded material is going to last forever and those albums are arguably her least beloved of the first 6. That's my ideal scenario anyway.

According to swiftie experts releasing a new album in the middle of re-recordings was a terrible decision but we saw what happened, releasing 3 more recordings on a row now will kill all hype
Bonicap Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 856M streams in 8 days of July. A daily average of 93.2M is needed to score the first month ever with 3B streams. What do we think?
