But... the thing about olivia is not the label focusing on more than one artist at the same time, we know Interscope can do this. it's the fact that Olivia has the same everything. Same manager, mkt team and label. I love Olivia but i can't help it but to be annoyed about it, since she's younger and also an ex act it kinda feels like a Selena replacement. A new blood with the same strategic logic behind for them.  I'm sorry but i've never talked about it and i needed to talk about it someday. There's NOTHING we can do about it tho so it's fine i guess

MTE

I can't even lie, i'm annoyed about this too lmao

Is funny how suddenly Aleen/the interscope team remembered how the music industry works.
Song released on friday, radio deal, plenty of tease on social media, Spotify playlists on point... lol how cute

But, when is comes to Selena, even a friday release is hard to get huh :biblio:

Anyways, Calm Down is a huge smash. Maybe now interscope will remember that Selena is  a hitmaker, and always should be treated like one.

Already 11 July and no infos about new song. I think it's safe to say that we won't have any new music this month. Hope it comes only in September.

I don’t think she’ll get a nom tomorrow. Hopefully they do more with her character during season 3 and she gets a nom next year.

Only Murders In The Building received 11 nominations on the Emmy's this year. 28 total Emmy nominations including the first season.

Selena received her 3rd Emmy nom as a producer.

Only Martin Short could make the Best Actor/Actress list this year. At least Selena isn't alone :gaycat6:

Hope season 3 returns Only Murders to it's momentum on critics eyes. Unhappily, it will be so far from the voting time for next year's Emmy.

My Mind and Me was also nominated at this year's Emmy

such a smash show! about the acting nom, let's wait until the 3rd season

1st season: satellite and critics choice awards nom

2nd season: satallite WIN and golden globes nom

3rd season: ...

she's getting there. everything selena's career related it's always baby steps.

none top 20 single and #1 album with the scene, got 3 #1 albums and #1 single solo

grammy nom just in 2021.. it's baby steps but she always gets there!

and in 2023 she's still on 3 different emmy nominated projects at the same year :clap3:

Taking a look a Billboard Music Awards, she can be nominated at:

*Top Hot 100 Song (the biggest of the night): she's #7 at the YEC countdown of this week. She will need to surpass Die For You and Creepin' to get it

*Top Streaming Song: I think she can make it to #4 at the YEC

*Top Selling Song: She will surpass Cuff It, but BTS and Taylor cannot release anything new (maybe with the new Billboard rule, we have more chances)

*Top Radio Song: She has a chance to end up at #3 only behind Flowers and Creepin'

*Top Collaboration: She is secured at this one. Can win if she manages to surpass Die For You and Creepin'

*Top Billboard Global 200 Song: She is also secured in this. Will lose to Flowers

*Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Song: She is also secured in this

It will be her biggest year in Billboard Music Awards :gaycat5:

Billboard Music Awards is a really hard award to get noms, right? You literally need to have one of the 5 biggests hits of the year to be nominated. Winning is even harder. Flowers and Last Night will snatch the most of them.
