To be fair the last three solo songs she pushed were:

Happy Mistakes (2024)

Hold My Hand (2022)

Stupid Love (2020)

some of the most questionably produced songs she's ever released :coffee:

Not y'all turning on Happy Mistake because it bombed. It's a good song. Y'all can **** on the other two tho idc. :dies:

is DWAS the longest running #1 on Spotify Weekly this year?

Posted

I don't get why people are upset joker is flopping lol. She made her money and she's thriving- it's just a movie calm down and let it flop as hard as it can, we've been through much worse during the ARTPOP era which was her own project.. this is todd's problem not hers to handle now

i think she was brilliant in the movie

Spoiler

Even though sometimes i felt like I'm actually watching gaga being herself not lee and i think it's because of the music

Imagine being THIS TASTELESS and hating on Happy Mistake..

Y'all just hate HM's Production because BloodPop was credited when in fact, the song was perfectly produced for what it is.. RAW, Haunting, Emotional, Dark & Deep.. nothing fancy, upbeat, happy

To be fair, by the time anyone saw it yesterday, the day was basically over. The same goes for today.

Any impact it has won't be until Sunday update. It'll probably plunge to #37 on Global Spotify that day.

My poor Gaga. She put so much effort into this Joker era. She even aligned the release of her next lead single with it. Todd, I hate you.

No, she didn't. :rip:

Happy Mistake is cute but shouldn't be a single (and am glad they didn't make it a proper one.) It would've just flopped anyway.

Stick with DWAS until LG7 lead.

Today is officially Joker day, 12 more hours for my screening :jonnyknife:

It's just that we all had very high expectations when we saw the project. Some of us even started hyping it for the Oscars (well, I was cautious after the HOG debacle).
We were thinking 'omg we're going to follow the film's amazing reviews and crazy numbers for several months', only to find ourselves wanting to move on to something else...
It's just...sad.
Not dramatic, but sad.

Toad: Joker 1

You need to be more specific

I would love to see Gaga in Jordan Peele's work

I saw the movie yesterday, it wasn't as bad as everyone it making it out to be. The only problem is first movie was catering incels, and this one breaks that concept completely while not particularly catering to gays either. It's kind of all over the place. She was amazing in it, I think she will still bag best supporting nom at Oscars.

Joker 1 is mid, Ridley didn't direct Blade Runner 2049 and I have no idea what The Terror is
