Pikachoo Posted October 4 Posted October 4 if you had to sneak a Gaga song into a party/work/family event playlist to get people to like Gaga, which song woulf you pick?
satnosaint Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Just watched JFAD it wasn't that bad. Gaga acting is great, you really forget is her(you see the difference with her other roles she played) . The musical segments were really good. The only thing bad is the story goes nowhere. What I would've liked to happen Spoiler - Harley character development -Harley should have kill*ed joker -a darker and bold Movie -the musical segments to be like when he sings The Joker - Take out the court drama -make the story about her driving him crazy, and they commiting crimes while singing - Take some of the songs and keep the stairs scene 1
Almodusa Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Okay and vice versa, now Joaquin gets credit for Gonna Build A Mountain for 5 seconds
GipJo Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Soundtrack Review: This is not an album one can listen to without the context of movie like ASIB and that's okay. The album has a clear progression, you can tell the first in love, the mutal loving, the obsession (GBAM), the break up, the heartbreak and the death of love. The problem I have: too many songs are in imperfect vocals, I thought most of the songs are in their delusion? Only like three songs are perfect vocals, I hoped for more. Or at least the imperfect vocals turn into perfect vocals mid-song when we go into the delusional minds, but most songs are imperfect vocals through and through. Standout for me: For Once In My Life, To Love Somebody, (They Long To Be) Close To You, The Joker (It's on the nose but fitting for him to sing), If You Go Away. The reason I choose those is also because I can totally see a joint characters album of Joker and Harley, it would eat with their good vocals and with proper production.

Depends on the type of event, but I think it's safer to choose one of her ballads because a lot of her bops have lyrics that may not be family friendly
GipJo Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Why didn't they do anything like discount iTunes, upload the performance? I thought they wanted the #1 1

Popular Post nick4bty Posted October 4 Popular Post Posted October 4 Saw it tonight. Theater was nearly full and no one left or was sighing/booing/groaning I thought it was great! The musical numbers all worked and fit into the story seamlessly, and I seriously have no clue why people are saying Gaga is barely in it. Shes in the entire movie she has full scenes during the courtroom proceedings and is an integral part of the storyline. Like what in the world are people even talking about… even in the scenes she's in, they feel complete and not cut short in the slightest. I know some people said the editing is awful, but it's literally perfect and exactly the same as the first movie. It's definitely worth a rewatch at home where I can belt out the songs and really get into it Otherwise I'm completely lost with what movie people are even seeing. Everything about this movie was great. Lee is definitely a supporting character to Joker, but the movie is called Joker, it's a continuation of his storyline, and yet Gaga is integral and present throughout the entire movie 15 3 1
Canonical Ensembl Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Oh When The Saints makes so much sense on HQ now because they spam When The Saints Go Marching In all the time in the film but got N/A on the OST album.
Sugden Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Thank god she did harlequin cause those movie versions are rough 1
Almodusa Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I wonder if it'll get in at the Grammys now nn, either way won't surprise me tbh

The vibe really is Cabaret meets Assassins. And instead of pulling from those types of shows that would have fit like a glove- songs like Unworthy of Your Love, Maybe This Time, Everybody's Got The Right, Losing My Mind, Everything's Alright- they chose a bunch of milquetoast standards that feel half-assed. Oh Todd. Wasn't Gaga a musical advisor on this
