Personally, this is the best season of the year to me, when I'm like becoming alive again after the summer and spring coma and February is like the most depressing month. Such a pity, really… it could have been an iconic time for me this fall same! my reverse seasonal depression is on her way out 2
Namiskine Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Aren't radio callouts scores influenced mainly on whether a song is known or not? Then on whether it's liked, and finally on the "burnout"? Which inherently makes it normal for songs to debut low if they don't have a deal with main stations. At least that's how it used to be when it was published and transparent 1 1

Human Fly Posted September 10 Posted September 10 US radios needs to be sued. A must-read: https://www.rollingstone.com/pro/features/pay-for-play-radio-texts-1067691/ "And when a label was unwilling to pay? A text from Zap warned the radio station not to take directions from the record company. 'Please don't let Interscope dictate anything to you,' he wrote. 'They don't pay me ****.'"

Maybe I would give in to group pressure if my usual marvel-obsessed friends insisted on going, but that's it no, i still haven't even seen the first one 1

Birds of a feather is #3 on pop lol i notice DWAS is going well ok the AC format like HMH so it could be a problem with older vs younger radio listeners we just have to hope it grows there and the #1 on AM keeps faith in the song

It had lots of uncomfortable truths about people who are forgotten at the fringes of society, and how they can become villains. I am excited to see the anti-incel takes in Joker 2, even if it isn't as good as the original. 4

hausofbryan Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Yall are doing the most today, just scrolling through the last few pages. Every single will have strong points and not, and radio is ALWAYS bumpy for Gaga. Even if it went #1 on pop radio, it'd be a rocky ride to get there. We shouldn't be new to this.. 1
Namiskine Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Wait it rose 13 SPOTS to #8 in Brazil despite an album bomb? 2 1

hausofbryan Posted September 10 Posted September 10 For a history lesson: Million Reasons, Shallow, and even ROM (which was basically built for radio) all struggled on pop radio. ROM barely went T10 and plunged.
