David_Greengrass97 Posted September 5 Posted September 5 EVERYBODY SAY THANK YOU TO MICHAEL POLANSKY NOW, I'M SO SERIOUS!!!!!!! 📢📢📢🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊 OMFG, he's the reason why she made a new pop record and it focuses on the happy and bright side but still dark. Wohahahaha. Oh Michael, I respect youuuuuuuuu 3 8
Album Leak Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I guess I can't complain with LG7 lead + DWAS + Joker soundtrack (+ potential secret project) being all in 2024 so even without LG7 album release we are getting fed music. But damn I want Abracadabra and Mustang NOW
Bojana Posted September 5 Posted September 5 And now, Michael and I are really excited to organize our lives—and our marriage—around our creative output as a couple." She shoots me a look. "Which is really different than, like, doing what other people want you to do." oh, I know that last part was cariNO shade 9
GraceRandolph Posted September 5 Posted September 5 What title do yall prefer for LG7? Private in Public or Meta-Modern?
lgaga1fan Posted September 5 Posted September 5 (edited) yall can't do basic math if you think october to february is 6 months. the lead could come out at the end of october and the album first week of february and that's max 4 months Edited September 5 by lgaga1fan 1 3
MonsterNavy Posted September 5 Posted September 5 february album release is perfect imo she can promote the 2nd single at the grammys while accepting her ROTY, SOTY & Best Pop Duo wins 4
Augmented Posted September 5 Posted September 5 She's been going on about this 'special project' for a while at this point, didn't she mention it back in June last year? Given the length of time it's taken do we think it's to do with another movie project of some description? 2

Hair Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Yes this rollout is confusing me because why would you let Christmas fall in between your lead and album, it seems very dangerous to me? But I'm sure she has something up her sleeve so I will stay perched.

opbranden Posted September 5 Posted September 5 I'm almost emotional hearing her talk about music, her creative process, her energy, and her excitement to make pop music and truly enjoying it. As a primarily Music-Ga stan, this is gold to me. I really sense that the connection she has with LG7 is the spark that was missing from her last albums. We haven't even heard it yet, but knowing how deeply connected and happy she feels about it is proof that she's poured her heart into this project, and that makes me so excited. 11
Summer Boy Posted September 5 Posted September 5 The looks for Vogue are incredible! Also we owe a big thank you to King Michael, who encouraged her to record a new pop record. For me, February 2025 is perfect for LG7. We already have Die With a Smile, the LG7 lead and the Joker movie and its soundtrack in October. I'm just wondering what is this special project ? I would love a Bruno collab EP/album, since DWAS is so good, but I don't know… I wish they gave some informations about this project. Like, is it coming before or after LG7?
Infernal Paradise Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Just so happy to know she's in the best place in her life feeling loved, inspired, and rejuvenated. It was evident enough just watching her and her interviews lately but it's nice to get the confirmation directly from her. The upcoming months are going to be an amazing time for her and for us. 10
Human Fly Posted September 5 Posted September 5 Guys who's doing the superbowl this year? I know its impossible to do it again this soon but maybe a little appearance would be amazing

babyforlife Posted September 5 Posted September 5 3 minutes ago, MonsterNavy said: february album release is perfect imo she can promote the 2nd single at the grammys while accepting her ROTY, SOTY & Best Pop Duo wins this idk a better rollout 4 months wait is nothing, with DWAS smashing, JFAD is around the corner, and LG7's lead single on October..
Rino Posted September 5 Posted September 5 this particular part of the interview feels like a hint at a possible title Quote At one point, we get into a conversation about her own recent fanaticism. She rattles off a list: Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish. "I mean, I really love them. I go on the internet and, like, cry. And I love Taylor Swift too. And Kesha. I watch it all, and I'm like: Yup. Go! Just Go." Here, her voice cracks and her eyes well up with tears. 1
opbranden Posted September 5 Posted September 5 "But I think what I want my fans to know is that I'm just, like, so happy. I'm healthy. I feel like the last time they heard from me - in this way - was Chromatica, and that album was about an absolutely horrible time for me with my mental health." 8
opbranden Posted September 5 Posted September 5 1 minute ago, MonsterNavy said: maybe the surprise project is Die With a Smile I think it is, because in the same interview just a few paragraphs before they wrote: She's also been recording music: a duet with Bruno Mars and a new pop album for 2025 she calls LG7.

But I'm sure she has something up her sleeve so I will stay perched. I mean, that's what happened with After Hours and Future Nostalgia, and they are two of the most successful eras of the decade. Granted, it didn't work for Radical Optimism, but I think the material had a lot to do with that. Nothing is surefire, but this strategy is tried-and-true.
