Not like a Q1 / Q2 rollout helped Chromatica's performance :rip: JFAD will easily sustain LG7 thru Christmas. It's like 6 weeks, please get over it. Look at SOS, released during the first week of December and 8 months later is still top 20. If the material is there, she will do fine.

I agree that the material is the most important thing about the project and I don't particularly care about the numbers LG7 does, but there's a reason why almost nobody releases that late into the year anymore. It's simply a bad business move. I don't want to have another era cut short w because something puts it to a halt (in this case, the holidays freeze) and she loses interest in the meantime. I don't want her restarting the era unsuccessfully yet again.

I'd rather have her release a single in October and album in January/February.

And three weeks later, Spotify would start getting clogged up with Christmas songs :rip:

True, but that didn't stop her from releasing half her discography in Q4 :suburban:

Christmas songs have started getting massive in past couple of years, not to mention that her only album released in Q4 in streaming era was in 2016 :suburban:

I don't buy it. JFAD promo campaign will be more promo for LG7 than she'll actually do herself, and that will be going strong from Sept 2024 - March 2025. Waiting until the tail end of that to release is the dumb business move.

At this point I feel like it will be a quick surprise release or a 2025 release. By surprise it may not even need to be the full album. Surprise drop the lead then album comes 1 week later or sumn like that.

Kind of like how Ariana dropped positions (song) then the album a week later. I'd be here for that tbh

I was honesty expecting Ariana's Eternal Sunshine+Wicked type of run for Gaga in 2024.

Album in first half and Movie in second half. I honesty don't know what to expect anymore.

She haven't announced anything, but roll-out is already pretty unique. With constant teasing and disappearing

Girls, releasing the lead single in October and album in January:rip:

And your "wednesday" post was for what exactly? To then come and tease a tragic rollout akin panned Selena Gomez era leading to her retirement from music?

February: Early is perfect, she has room to promote JFAD later

Q2: This is the perfect time to release, she has jazz shows Q3! Gaga summer is coming
Q3: Jazz shows and right after, we get LG7!
Q4: Uh, LG7 is Halloween album!

If it's 2025 it's 10000% gonna be the Miley / Ariana strategy:

First big single of the year with no competition to ensure a top 5-top 3, album in March

Well, Flowers or yes, and? didn't need to not have competition but they didn't have much. In January radios and people go for classics and hits from last year so there's not many new songs popping up.

To be fair, I actually don't think they themselves have ever claimed to be an insider. I think they've maybe mentioned having sources in the past who have been so-so, but nothing more. And as the weeks go by with no news, and with 2025 being a high possibly for a release date, maybe it was just a talking point.

I want it this year so bad as well, but I'm not getting my hopes up.:monkey:

Why do you guys care so much about Radio? They're so ageist and weird when it comes to Gaga regardless of the season.

If the music is good, it'll grow organically.

They should only focus on TikTok and streaming IMO.

I am almost sure Taylor is going to drop her TV of reputation soon, as it will mark the end of the Era's tour, and she always releases an EP's worth of music so the single will probably dominate the charts. Reputation during halloween would work well too. And beyonce is coming early next year for sure if she is touring cowboy carter as rumored.... with the lack of longevitiy in the charts she will prob drop act 3 during or before the tour to continue promoting her beyonce acts. Katy is dropping her album in september, and the single/promo during august/early september. GaGa really had all of june and July to herself .... and the hype with her opening the olympics, being on fortnite, dropping the chromatica ball film announcing her new album. All that and did not release anything.  But we shall see what happens.
