She legit got to meet Gaga one on one and everything. It's weird as hell that she needed to use her name for clout chasing. Maybe Gags flicked her ****** before the cameras were rolling. 4
Azealia Banks Posted May 9 Posted May 9 who cares about that Shea person, bottom of the barrel lol 5 1
Happylittlepunk Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Do you guys think Gaga is seen or expected too be some sort of social justice warrior? Considering her past outspoken support for lgbtq+ community and other causes like born this way bus etc. which is why people always make a deal that Gaga doesn't speak enough on current issues anymore.

As many people have pointed out the reasoning in itself doesn't make any sense but then there's also the fact that she *knew* the album is four years old and had to throw that jab there. It feels like she was just annoyed with the fact that people are excited about TCBf (she makes it clear she doesn't deem it worthy of excitment) and then had to come up with some legitimate morally grandstanding reason for that afterwards. Yeah the pointing out in that tweet of the 4 years old thing was definitely made with the intent of being shady to say the least, honestly I'm not familiar with them since I don't follow Drag Race but I recall other monsters saying that they have been shady towards Gaga in other occasions in the past. This tour movie is truly making people fume in a way I didn't expect 1

I think to an extent, yes. But she's been more outspoken on issues pertaining to feminism and the LGBTQ+ community for the most part of her career. Which is why it's frustrating that she's held to a weird standard around every single social issue. She should only be held accountable (and she HAS been held accountable) for remaining vigilant about women/LGBTQ+ issues.
Puttanesca Posted May 9 Posted May 9 When has Gar ever spoken about geopolitical issues? She keeps it to America and things that personally affect her, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

In fairness to Shea, she's clearly talking about gay twitter types who don't pay attention to jack sh*t currently going on in the world with the "4 years ago" bit underscoring that. And it's not like people on this very site haven't said similar things about the timing- "The concert happened 2 years ago, nobody will care/why bother releasing it?". It's a bit of a stupid thing to tweet but I don't see it as her attacking Gaga specifically.

Gaga was never a SJW, she's just a vocal LGBTQ+ and womens' rights supporter. People are mistaking the controversy she causes around BTW with being obsessively paranoid about the issues she defends. She actually has a life, a career, a partner, 18 children, a farm, three cows, and the entire nation of Italy to care for and govern.
Almodusa Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Chromatica Ball (2024) - Full Cast & Crew - IMDb So another director alongside Gaga is listed as well as several editors... all who worked on The Eras Tour film and some who did Lizzo's, Billie's, or The Weeknd's specials. An incorrect Bobby is linked so I don't know how accurate this is but perhaps all the other tech people added themselves. Also 3 of the producers that are noted on Max's page for Chromatica Ball were nominated for Best Music Film for Billie's Live at the O2 special.

They have nothing to do with each other and tbh, she should shut up because she hops on every opportunity to promote herself and her work, but it's suddenly problematic when our hermit fave leaves her home for 2 seconds to announce a concert film. I don't follow her but she sounds incredibly annoying. 1

I've been to TCB so I don't think there will be anything new (besides some bts footage of the tour) whereas Lady and the Legend has so much content we've never seen. Plus it must contain bts footage of Gaga during a difficult period in her career. I just know it would make me emotional 😭 1
