Didn't she have some Enigma dates still in the contract she needed to finish up?

I think it was assumed that the jazz shows covered whatever remaining shows she had left in her contract, and it's possible that the pandemic essentially made the 9 shows that were cancelled in 2020 null and void under a force majeure clause. There were several artists whose had shows in Vegas that ended up getting cancelled and not rescheduled due to the pandemic. So far she has done 64 shows and the original contract was for 74, so it's possible that due to Covid those remaining ten shows don't need to be fulfilled and she is just starting again from her new contract.

a 10-show limited run of Enigma with the Chromatica singles and a bit of LG7 thrown in there would be cute, but she'll sell the shows out anyway so it's certainly not ammunition for her to put anything new out.

I doubt her new contract has an exclusivity clause since her first one didn't, although there are probably certain clauses like not performing her own ticketed concert within a certain radius of the venue while the residency is active, but I believe the first time that probably only included other venues in Vegas since she did shows in California.

She's allowed a certain number of touring shows per every vegas show but the number is abysmal. This is why the original TCB dates were so few, she probably renegotiated it between then and now though to allow the tour to expand. She also wasn't allowed to do shows in the western US under her original contract unless it was at MGM owned venues, which she ended up doing anyway.

tl;dr whatever the old terms were they're out the window anyway

Even her Jazz show has got setlist changes and new costumes more than once. 2018 Enigma is done.

Thank you

I am delighted to learn that she has the freedom to tour if she desires, rather than being confined to Las Vegas. :duca:

A limited run at The Sphere would be perfect, imo. A brand new show after LG7 could totally work.

And then Miss Thing needs to get the fawk out of the popstar graveyard for good. I've had enough of Fadgas.

I did see it live and I was front row.

I’ve seen Gaga live at every tour except JWT & Jazz and I was also at Swinefest.

It was her worst show by a mile. It was still pretty good.

It just felt like it was a very half assed attempt at a Storyline and the costuming was really bad. She looked like she hated half of her older hits.

The next time I saw her live was CBT and that was exceptional. A true superstar performance.

Enigma needs to be binned. It felt rushed and inauthentic.

Yeah I wasn't saying it was the best show I've ever seen but it was serviceable and not the total disappointment that it's made out to be. I personally don't feel like it was any better or worse than the artrave tbh. That aside every other show I've seen from her(including Jazz) blew it out of the water.

Apparently Bey will have the sphere first and then a stadium tour for Act II, so I don't think it will avaliable for Gaga

I really hate the sphere. The effects are cool but the stage is like made for ants.

The Sphere looks awful from most angles and Gaga has put great care into making sure most views of her shows are great, can't imagine her doing the sphere. The ticket prices are also ludicrous and I'm not sure she could even sell out nightly if it was that expensive to go.

Well, it's definitely unique and I feel most people are there for the whole 'experience', rather than just seeing their favorite artists up close, but I can totally see it working, especially for a big pop show.

Maybe they could shoot something there too and make up for the messy Chroma movie rollout.

Ehm, not The Chromatica Ball.

The stage was just awful for stadiums, the side views were terrible. And that's a shame because the show was great.

I’d prefer another house inspired album over something too dad rock adjacent. I don’t understand why Gaga is expected to reinvent herself with every album. There’s more room to explore the house sound imo, maybe bringing in some industrial elements as well.

most views for the chromatica ball were still great, even if you were on the side but a little further back you got a decent view because of the enormous screens.

The Sphere really looks distorted and unviewable outside of a single section, there's a reason most of the viral U2 clips were from the dead center of the seating map.

I was there and I can guarantee you I couldn't see a damn thing from my overpriced seats. Thankfully, I went to a second show in the Golden Circle.

I told y’all years ending in 3 and 4 are cursed for Miss Gaga. We’ll have to wait until 2028 for our luck to change.

Absolutely right. :bird:

She peaks during 8s, 9s, 0s and 1s. See ya’ll in 2028.

Somewhat stoked for her cover / tribute eras in 2025-2026 though :snowball:

Notice how I said pretty far back, you're in the nearest section. The Sphere has the reverse problem where instead of one or two sections that get a worse show, there's only one section that gets a good show.

This is a pretty ridiculous thing to drag on about when we're talking about the woman who will set up 7 stages, build record length catwalks, or literally get harnessed and fly up to give a better view to people in the back, which was my original point. Sorry you had a poor experience at your first date.

I think LG7 will be a cohesive mixed bag album like born this way. A full on dad rock album would perform poorly and alienate her fanbase even more.

We got a new album in 2014 so maybe there's hope.

(jazz album but technically a studio album nonetheless)
