Aston Martin Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 1 week(ish) until Rain on Me hits 1 billion streams Around a month until Paparazzi hits 500 million streams (though if it keeps growing/hitting new weekly peaks, then it'll probably happen sooner). *knock on wood* I'm honestly predicting that it grows to eventually be doing the numbers that Just Dance is doing now. This is because JD was doing Paparazzi's current numbers last year and Paparazzi has been consistently growing. I'll be adding it to the songs whose daily averages I track (right now I only track Shallow, Poker Face, Bad Romance, ARUTW, and Just Dance). It's kind of crazy that Bad Romance and Poker Face used to be neck-and-neck in daily and total streams, but now Poker Face is almost 25 million streams ahead and its daily average this year (784k but it keeps rising as it's stayed above this number for most of the second half of this year) is a good bit higher than Bad Romance's (621k). Poker Face is also consistently outstreaming it on YT (415k per day vs 290k per day). Both songs are god-tier smashes, but there used to be so much debate as to which one was bigger. And I feel like that seems to have been answered pretty definitively as of late. Shallow's about 13 million streams away from hitting 300 million accumulated in 2023. I have it ending the year around the 320 mark. That would be the highest since 2021, and if it grows at a similar YoY rate for 2023 -> 2024 as it did for 2022 -> 2023, then it would have its biggest streaming year since 2020. ARUTW is on track to have its biggest year since 2019. Hopedictions: Continued growth and/or new music releases eventually push Paparazzi to JD numbers, Shallow to over 1 million on Fridays at least, and Poker Face continues its YoY growth (195 million per year -> 286 million per year is insane). As does the rest of her catalogue obviously. And of course, I hope any music that she does release does well and is good. 11

Sannie Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 (edited) The way it is starting to look like we may get a music and movie era in 2024? I would have never thought she would do this, but if so, 2024 will be packed for her. 7 hours ago, The Witch said: Idc if the lead single is produced by Will.i.am, i just want a high budget video and Godga serving MPG. Nobody does high budget videos anymore, tbh. And you do not really need a big budget to get a good result. She just needs to... IDK, focus and work with someone who can help bring her vision to life. Instead, we will get Richie taking time off as a sexual assaulter to serve as creative director. 5 hours ago, Miichael said: Liddos having full blown meltdowns and deciding will.i.am is definitely producing LG7 just because they were seen leaving the same restaurant separately Meltdowns when they think we are getting rock and not pop. Leptine Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Bold prediction, I think that with the movie very likely being massive, with some songs played during the movie on key scenes and potentially being recreated (or posted) and going viral on TikTok, I think the JFAD soundtrack has potential to do good numbers in an unexpected way even if it's jazz or traditional pop musical songs, if somebody can do this miracle, it's Gaga. Concrete example: 'The Greatest Showman' soundtrack that is all traditional musical songs, it has songs with +700M-500M streams on Spotify (notice it was released in 2017 when Spotify was less bigger), the soundtrack has +3 Billion streams on Spotify, reached #1 on Billboard and UK + other markets with overall very good number sales and no big popstar attached to it and with a movie that grossed 430M$. JFAD soundtrack has the potential to replicate at least that soundtrack success. 4 1

JFAD will be released just in time for halloween and I guess Joker and Lee costumes will be everywhere, maybe people will use the soundtrack as their tiktok's sound (that or Bloody Mary ) even if I believe not much will be original music.

There were rumors about a few original songs being on it, however even if there won't be original music, it won't make a difference in my opinion in the soundtrack potential success when we talk about traditional music (whereas it's musical or jazz standards).
Komet Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 We heard a bit of praises for An Oscar Is Born pretty early from some celebs here and an there right? Not to be dramatic but if we don't hear something soon for FAD I fear it's over, an oscar for nothing
