You spilled.

To further expand on this, I am not saying fans have to like jazz or that Rollingstone song, I know I do not, but there is such a vast difference between how Beysters and Swiftonites react to stuff they "do not like" and how Monsters do. Monsters react in such a nasty, negative, mean-spirited way towards Gaga and then wonder why she does not want to communicate with us anymore. We know how sensitive she is to virtually everything, and the reason she looks and feels so effortless on stage singing jazz is because the people coming to see her are doing so out of pure love and respect. When you have that kind of feeling, it is easy to churn out material and want to actually feed your fans. When you know what you do will be greeted with animosity, it is like, "why even bother"?

The reason Bey and Tay are able to continue feeding their fans is because their fans are incredibly supportive and loving towards them no matter what they do. If B or T were to put out a jazz song or a song with the Rollingstones, their fans would instantly support it without hesitation.

To be fair none of them really released something that extremely different from that they usually do like jazz or a song with a RollingStone, or passing from 'The Fame' kind of music to 'Joanne'.

Swift change of genre has always been in line with the kind of pop music and way of sing she usually does, it has never been extreme like releasing a jazz song, and the same for Beyoncè, even her dance album is still very much R&B oriented similar to her previous releases (see the R&B Grammys nominations for that project indeed), when it comes to Beyoncé, her fans didn't really support much the joint album with Jay-Z or the Lion King soundtrack that were both 2 big projects considering also the visuals she released for them.

We can change the jazz shows with CBT in this context, then what?

Then how come Spirit tanked?

IMO, the idea of other fanbases being different and more supportive towards their faves is bullshit. Taylor fans dragged her for Cats, her relationships, etc. Bey fans also had tons of meltdowns because of her long album breaks + lack of Rena visuals. Every fanbase is like this.

Most just think monsters are "worse" because they are part of the fanbase and interact with other monsters on a daily basis.

That’s not really true. Taylor and Beyoncé fans have let plenty of side projects flop that they didn’t care about.

Like Taylor’s collab with Ed Sheeran for Joker and the Queen. They totally ignored the Ice Spice Karma remix (interesting that Taylor fans always hate it when she works with black artists) and they let Carolina flop.
But! Their fans fully support studio pop albums. Unlike Gaga fans that refused to support Chromatica because um … I guess because Redone wasn’t the main producer? Not really sure why Gaga fans didn’t like Chromatica

Luckily, Gaga has other projects that do not rely on fan involvement. JFAD will be carried by the GP while liddos cry about the soundtrack having Judy Garland covers

Both the benefit and curse of stanning Gaga is that she's far more artistically versatile than Bey, Taylor and other peers. Her swinging from pop to jazz to dance to rock to music composition to acting to other things can sometimes feel like whiplash, but it's also what makes it exciting to follow her career.

What? How? The album went number #1, had great streaming numbers at first, literally everyone was freaking out during the Rain On Me release. Chroma Ball was a huge success. Most fans even have the album as one of their favorite Gaga albums. The Chroma era had many problems, but I don't think it lacked fan support. Fans supported what they were given, which wasn't much.

The reason why Chroma is already forgotten, is that, as usual, they were not able to make the era last. 2 singles (the lead being a huge letdown) and some promo every 6 months won't make her albums get big.

Bloody Mary jazz version in Vegas when :angelo:

In all seriousness, Bloody Mary's revival has been one of the most satisfying things to watch unfold in her career. It's been my favorite song of hers since I first heard it, and if they can cement it as a Halloween classic, then that'll always give the fanbase one guaranteed hit to track for an entire month for the rest of her career. I would love for her to make a high-budget music video for the song at some point, but I'm not delusional. So I'll just enjoy the fact that the song's being appreciated by the GP.

What is this stupid comparison between Swifties,Beyhives and us lol

I or any LMs can dislike whatever I/they want and that does not justify Latega delaying on everything

You all need to stop acting like Chromatica (or any other Gaga related projects) not being most commercially successful album is her fans fault. That is so stupid and dumb :rip:

Ga Ga keeps serving half-baked eras but it's somehow our fault? :rip:

Reminder: Chromatica sold 300k first week. Fans did their job. It was GaGa who disappeared for MONTHS.

Also it would sell much more if not for what happened in the US during the release week. She closed her shop. It was brutal.

"Shallow" did 843,786 streams yesterday (+62k from last Monday)

"Always Remember Us This Way" did 707,535 streams yesterday (+87k from last Monday)

Whether it's the SSOH release boost or just ballads being streamed more in the fall, I love that these two songs are seeing continued increases week over week.

It absolutely does suck to see other fans get fed, but we kind of have ourselves to blame. I can not in good faith expect Gaga to care about us when we have been so, so incredibly nasty to her.

Girl pls, beehive allowed both everything is love and the gift to flop, two albums with original music. Swifties never went that far but tbh Taylor never released side album, she had side singles like Carolina that absolutely flopped and no one cared. Those fan bases support whatever they want to support, taylor stays safe while beyonce sees the consequences of doing wild and/or unwanted projects. This myth that Gaga has awful stans unlike other girls is false.

I know some Bey fans that are upset about the rumor about ACT II of Renaissance being a country album has them infuriated with the lack of visuals from Act I. This fanbase needs to stop making false narratives. We are not obligated to support Gaga or any artist with every career decision they make.

LM is the most devoted but also the most fickle fanbase

But at least we are the hottest, you guys should stop fighting each other and start *******
