We'll probably hear more about Chroma Ball within two weeks. If not, she scrapped it.

Chromatica Ball wasn’t visually interesting enough to warrant a blu ray or streaming release. You’re really not missing out on anything.

instead she should release a live album, because certain songs sounded better live than in studio.

She should’ve deluxe’d these in Feb 2021, I wanted to hear them and everyone else does this

Live album is great idea

And it’s quite telling that for her first proper stadium tour it was all TFM aesthetic not her last albums concept at all really. But it enabled her to look very polished.

Anyone have Gaga vinyl? How does it sound?

Imma be honest, Swine from Above remix outro and the first half are the only listenable parts (and bangers at that too) but whatever happened during the second verse/chorus needs to be deleted immediately

Aside from the very debatable 'not enough visually interesting' that seems to me your usual teasing since years in this thread with these kind of takes in order to sound edgy and rile up this fanbase, performing is the main focus of a tour anyway and she has been serving between her best tour performances that deserve to be released properly, beside, the are tones of fans that couldn't attend (and also the ones that attended but didn't have the best view) that still want to see the professional footage of this.

Basically

i am done with people complaining about the stage. It was fine for the storyline she pushed. That whole Chromatica sine stage was dumb and the whole bubblegum visuals people expected from that messy Stupid Love video would have been dull and serve Enema 2.0 and guess what? People would still complain

Gaga took an album that many people in here called basic and boring and made a tour of pain, regret and healing out of it (the same point as the damn album). Except she didnt package it into the bubblegum/cyberpunk/futurism aesthetic that the album jacket photoshoot had, she did it in classic Gaga style. The show will come out eventually (and if not the fan dvds are already excellent) and will showcase Gaga at arguably the peak of her performance ability. I wouldn't call the rccent tour her best vocally, but stamina + choreo + piano section wise the show and its overarching storyline sort of stomp on everything she's done to date. She didn't feel the need to write in a forced script and narrative to convey her message. What I like about Gaga is, even if things feel rushed, they come out great and almost gritty because of it. When she gets too much time to sit on something, the plot can be lost (like a lot of ppl felt during Chromatica). She's almost ALWAYS at her best when she sticks to a vision and executes it quickly. I think the only tour that had extreme foresight and planning was the BTWBall and, though great, pales in comparison to the production and physical + vocal performance she's giving now on tour in the 2020's

Some of you need to realize that shows aren't always about the stage and production. Gaga stuck to her guns and gave an amazing PERFORMANCE, which should be noted highly when somebody is on tour. Also to talk about the show visually, the interludes were some of the best in her touring career. The interludes were all great and actually told a story without force feeding it with shitty dialogue like past tours. At some point some of you may need to accept that Gaga might not be for you and just move on with your lives or stop stanning her so obsessively if you're getting that upset about all of her actions daily. If all you can muster up is "this is bad, this bombed, this is basic, boring, etc" after being GAGGED a year ago about it when Beyonce/Taylor weren't on tour than you really are showing your ass.

Chromatica Ball stage was basic and cheap, that's a fact. You're not a bad fan if you admit that CBT could've been executed much better.

That being said, we'll still need the tour special.

Agreed, people trying to paint those of us who wish it had a better stage as bad fans are just...:deadbanana:

However, I actually can't fully be mad at Gaga for the stage either, as I don't think the problem is with her exclusively since I believe pretty much all the big tours nowadays have pretty basic stages that almost fully rely on screens unfortunately. The thing with Gaga is we expect more from her because she's shown in the past how innovative she can be with tour stages, even when they are relatively basic and cheap like with the artRAVE. I'd like to think maybe they chose not to invest too heavily in the stage this go around because the tour was short and it didn't make as much sense logistically/financially to go all out on the stage.

Chromatica Ball is PopGa at her best. I'm not gonna lie, the nightmare that was Enema traumatized me. That combined with her interviews about struggling with the Gaga persona and going through an identity crisis had me worried, but she proved once again that she is one of the best entertainers of this century. Of course there was a lot of room for improvement (stage+production wise mostly) but I believe the fact that it was only a short run was a major factor. The tour was stunning visually with some of the best interludes and outfits of her career. I'm sorry if your nostalgaga glasses stay GLUED to your eyes and you still believe TMB or TBTWB are her best shows. It's fine if you think that, but we've heard it enough over the last decade.

OMG IT SOUNDS GOOD. Gaga is screaming but it’s FameGa PopGa Stan era screaming :duca: @Marry Illusion Glory

also the tour could’ve been more elaborate in parts: outfits, props and stagebut it was executed polished and she put her performing at the centre. I think it’s a shame she is pretty underrated as a performer because a lot of her music struggles commercially Vs. Taylor etc
