Her team (which is, like, five people btw lol) is why her career still exists and she is a respected Oscar winning legend (Richy not included). 43 minutes ago, MadMax12 said: She needs a radio friendly lead single that will have longevity. The problem with her recent leads is they don’t have much replay value so they were front-loaded on their debut week. I don’t expect something like Training Season that was clearly made for radio, but something with a catchy hook that you’ll want to hear again Not the phrase “radio friendly” in 2024 Take that ish back to 2016. So many of the more recent hits are not what any pop Stan would consider radio friendly. The public does not work that way anymore. 2

She had said it herself many times, and that Tony + C2C were her motivation to keep going. Yes but it was duo to people who was betraying her during that era
Jessie Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Grace also said HOG had no chance of hitting $50m domestic after its opening weekend. Let’s stop taking her seriously please Edited February 16 by Jessie

Zefierce Posted February 16 Posted February 16 They literally attacked me liking Taylor when my comment was on topic, and not even 10 min later had a meltdown when people started doing it to them.
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted February 16 Posted February 16 32 minutes Spoiler based on her posting patterns this is the countdown we should be making instead

It's pointless to try and appease them.

Kimi Posted February 16 Posted February 16 As a Lorde/Gaga hybrid stan that thread was a choice. To clean the atmosphere let’s look at what Lorde herself has posted about Gaga 6

I actually think Grace has decent business takes, but also leans way too much into the thinktank-esque corporate sh!te. Call me crazy, but adding musical elements and potentially surprising plot developments is the right move and will turn FaD into a must-see event film. That would never be the case had they played it safe and just repeated the same formula like a lot of people keep saying the should have. And with whispers of what the ending may be.. only Pepe Frog man-children wouldn't be able to handle it. The GP will be fine. 2
SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Spoiler "This A-list singer/performer was recording her HIGHEST BUDGET (to date) video for her new single today and let me tell you - the budget will be noticeable once it's out in February! She rented out whole studio building for this video and everyone was signing bunch of NDA's because of her previous leak trauma. Expect the unexpected. Bunch of props, action, thrill,.. It's gonna be good."(via Deuxmoi) So this clearly wasn't about Dula Peep. Unless she scrapped the mv. Should we clown? I can't remember anyone else who matches the description, especially considering the "leak trauma". 1

bucketsofnuggets Posted February 16 Posted February 16 You know, I'm absolutely not team "Gaga hated Chromatica" but it is relatively evident that she is very very excited about this era in a way she hasn't really been in a while. She seems really comfortable sharing the aesthetic for this in a way that didn't feel forced like some of the Chromatica promo did (particularly post-release content). I think between the subject matter being so painful and c0vid completely destroying the rollout over and over again she's excited to put stuff out again. 4

So many of the more recent hits are not what any pop Stan would consider radio friendly. The public does not work that way anymore. Thank you. The idea that she'll only ever get a hit again if she does some trend-chasing collab with a "rising" B-lister or panders to AC radio tastes from the 90s is such archaic thinking. Streaming and Tik Tok have made the music ecosystem a new Wild West. Kate Bush nearly went #1. Mitski got a hit with a country lounge song. Tons of artists have released traditional "hits" that barely made a dent. Anything can happen. There's no reason for her to not stick to her guns artistically. 3 1
