Not at all. Country is literally all about relatability - this is not a genre where coming across as entitled or "queen-like" works. It was literally birthed as the genre of the common folk on the countryside, hence Country.

Where Rennie worked well with the diva, untouchable image, Rodeo needs to be more grounded.

An interview could do wonder, and remember: If you want to shift the genre and live your black Dolly fantasy, you have to also make an effort to be seen as such.

You're setting yourself up here. Beyonce isn't going to do an about face because she's doing a different genre. She is still the same person with the same values.

This era will be much like Renaissance, except this time we may actually get visuals. Which I'm starting to think was the intention all along and nothing went wrong behind the scenes as some speculated.

The opposite for me. I can’t stand 16C. It’s giving I Am filler ballad 7.0. No ma’am!!

I’m not surprised it’s an Oklahoma radio station already trying to be messy though

Ada is a shithole anyway - even the people from there hate it and try to escape asap

Oh this just made me SO emotional, omg.

If you know, you know, this album, this song, and Aaliyah's history.

Anybody else think Sarah Paulson is in the visuals?  I've been thinking that for a while now

Why though? Wasn't Sarah always a fan?

Weather the radio knew what her song sounds like or not, it's making controversy and media will be quick to pick it up. It only benefits her. More people would hear that she has a country song and would go to hear what all the fuss is about and that's how you get streams

However, they have to push it to the top of TTH, so it has stable updates

I'm all for SNL, but it's Beyonce we're talking about

It started to get traction that’s why they had to respond. There was viral tweet about it,  even the shade room posted about it 💀

So J Lo just played in Dubai and not one post about it? Interesting isn’t it. Selective outrage again on ATRL

I also recommend "That's Why You're Beautiful" and then "All Night" after "16 Carriages". :smitten: All of them are cousins.

Hopefully we get a ballad that ends Halo's reign as her most popular ballad but that's probably asking for too much

Spoiler

Dangerously in Love or something else getting a good movie tie-in or something would also work.

No, it’s just that no one cares about Jennifer.

There’s like a viral tweet right now, which references her last interview saying her new album might be her last, and it’s like „thank god“ and has like 20K likes.

I can easily see her adding those two to her setlist, along with Smash Into You and Daddy Lessons for the next tour.

Also this 16 track info might be a typo, since it says 02. 16 Carriages and not 16., like they typed it. But maybe they have some more information already, but it does look like a mistake.
