Y'all gotta read some of the comments under her R&R Hall of Fame profile. People were seething at the mere prospect of an induction and were labelling her the Paula Abdul of the 2000s and saying she wasn't gonna stand the test of time. One comment from 2006 reads "her music isn't timeless enough & the cracks are already starting to show with her sophomore record B'Day. She'll be lucky to release a 3rd solo album":ahh::deadbanana: Fast forward to the beginning of the 2010s decade, everyone was in unanimous agreement that she's a first year inductee. She really cemented her mark in pop history with ST :jonny2:

What if...

Beyoncé hasn't peaked yet? Musically and commercially?

Top Off is far and away her worst song and y’all could never convince me otherwise

not JT selling his catalogue for 1 dollar :toofunny3:

and apparently many artists including Bruno (why???) are selling their music catalogs and I just don’t know why. I would really love to learn how Beyoncé’s music business is set up… all about her masters, ownership of her music and how much it’s all worth :jonny5:

IASF is simply her worst album. It's ironic that it seems to be her biggest globally

Well, let's put it this way: As of now, she is one of the biggest artists of all time, the biggest legend of her generation, the most awarded artist ever at the Grammys, has some of the most acclaimed singles and albums of the century, has plenty of iconic moments, popularized both surprise and Friday releases, and is one of the last remaining stadium touring forces (together with Coldplay, Taylor and a few others ).

If somehow, all of this hapenned before her peak... I think that would qualify her as THE greatest artist of all time. :jonnycat:

Personally, I don't think she'll surpass IASF (commercially) or ST/Lem (in terms of stature), but I wouldn't rule out a 3rd imperial phase a la COADF.

It’s because of streaming tbh.

Radio ruined IASF in the way Forward and Sandcastles ruined Lemonade for me. Self-titled + 4 have unskippable tracks and are her best albums I’m afraid. :giraffe:

It’s been 1 year since Bey said she was “cooking up music, Chef BoyarBey” in Michelle’s voice call btw:giraffe:

If she’s comparing the process of making music to her cooking then that explains why it’s taking so long, She’s struggling in that kitchen making some Hamburger Helper:giraffe:

Random but I’d love her to book the Eurovision lol Madonna got to do a 9 minute performance. It would be a huge spectacle and would be the closest thing to her doing the Super Bowl again.

I had thought this too! She would completely body it. It'd be like Beychella but for her European fans :jonny6:she's been referenced in it countless times
