I agree with Video Phone...next is 7/11...that song doesn't even exist to me. A lot of people hate the fact that it's a rehash of CIL and the song itself was super polarising upon release, but I agree. The controversy over the MV was so ridiculous and blown out of proportion. Still pisses me off.
Hallad173 Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Not Ego slander I loved the video. It was simple and The glam was everything.
Devin Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 What are y’all favorites from IASF? Most of us drag this album but there some cute tracks. Smash Into You, Diva, Video Phone >>>
Beyoncé Knowles Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 I love the whole IASF album ? it's actually my 2rd favorite album after bday ?
abeille Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 The I Am... side shits all over Sasha Fierce. Naur it's true!! Disappear, Ave Maria, TWYB >>>>> I really love the classic grungy folk vibe on this side. Not even gonna acknowledge the deluxe's sequencing because it's a complete disaster. Only the standard makes sense concept wise.

SashaDevachelli Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 When will you guys be grown enough to admit that Telephone and Videophone are guilty pleasure bops with camp visuals and we shouldn't hate them because of the nasty vile fans?

Not Like The Movies Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Lemonade, self titled and 4 are just leagues above her other albums, im sorry!! the gift is also an amazing album that deserved better imo.
Hallad173 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Smash Into You is the pinnacle of IASF and the I Am… side definitely carries the album, I feel every song except That’s Why Your Boring ?and but SF side still goes but bops don’t stick like a solid ballad, for me anyway.
ShouldersSideways Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Quote PECK: It sounds superficial, but the thing that finally killed my imposter syndrome was when Beyoncé asked me to be in her Ivy Park campaign. They were like, “The entire campaign is inspired by you.” I was like— KEOUGH: “I guess I can sit at this table.” PECK: If anything can kill your imposter syndrome! That was a big help. Random, but I was reading an Orville Peck interview and came across this. Cool that he inspired Ivy Park Rodeo. I love how clued in she is to culture and even not so big artists. I wonder if she would release an album in chapters the way he did (and other artists.) For example, if the album is 16 songs she can release four at a time and maybe those four are episode one of a Netflix miniseries.
Jai Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Disappear is the standout track on IASF Im convinced she did a double album because she knew the Sasha Fierce songs had no business mixing with the I am songs.

I agree with this. And I love Ego especially the runs/falsetto she does in the bridge with the piano. Classic Bey.
suneclipse121 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Do any of you guys like Poison? ? I always loved it

I'm imagining, its a hot friday in June and then she makes an instagram post and everyone is rushing to her website and then there's a video to a feel-good-summer-jam. I can imagine that it will be similiar to what she did during 2016, first release a single and then release the album months later, just like she did with Formation. Or she does a complete surprise drop again.

aaron511 Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 IASF and DIL are her worst albums by far I listened to the Platinum Edition of IASF for the first time in years this week and omg

Smash Into You, Diva, Video Phone >>> You breakin' my focus boy, you cute and you ballin' >>> without Diva or Video Phone IASF would not have been the same - but Smash Into You, Disappear and Sweet Dreams are my trinity. I feel like if Smash Into You was the 1st single with Single Ladies the kick-off of the era could have been bigger. Also if Stop Sign was on B'Day and released as the last single it could have been the perfect transition to the IASF era IMO Edited May 27, 2022 by Crayzik
abeille Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Now imagine if this made the final cut. Would've saved the SF side tbh Save the Hero and Poison are cute for bonus tracks
BnPac Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 (edited) Sasha Fierce is OK : it has SL (one of her most experimental /weird songs ever), Diva, Sweet Dreams and Ego. All great songs. VP is a dud and Radio is an awful song that was a guilty pleasure but aged badly. That's 4/6. And let's not forget the platinum edition has Why Don't You Love Me. The only truly great song on I Am... is Disappear. And yes, what a song!!! But the rest are either duds, mids or snooze fests that could appear in a Céline Dion's record. Ave Maria is a great vocal performance though. Edited May 27, 2022 by BnPac
*-ChriZ-* Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 And once again they used a Bey song for RuPauls Dragrace (Green Light). Still not a great lipsync, but nice exposure I guess
