Do y'all think Beyoncé will ever write an autobiography? Like 20, 30, even 40 years from now?

this isn't shade, but I don't see her as the "writing a memoir" type. she's already extensively shown what she wants to show us through documentaries and such.

I can see her being involved in the development of a Beyoncé biopic (hopefully not as bad as Madge's :deadbanana2:). I could see a tell-all interview/special. Or maybe a docuseries that goes over her entire career.

Sweet Honey Buckiin is going viral on TikTok but it is getting paid dust by Beyonce. Her singles selection will always confound  me.

Alien Superstar not being a single was similarly criminal. That would've been a great viral song as well.

TikTok is literally the perfect platform for Beyonce. Choreography trends, vocal trends, quotable lines, fun songs. Even her old catalog like B'Day and Single Ladies is perfect for it.

I can definitely see Beyoncé executive producing a biopic. But idk biopics are good at highlighting the good and the bad moments on film and I can see a Beyoncé biopic lacking depth. I also don't see Beyoncé ever opening up in an interview :jonny2:

Autobiographies are more like a glimpse into a person's soul. It goes deeper than, "I'm a human, I cry, I get nervous..." :jonny2: Like how do you compartmentalize??!!! How does it feel to REALLY be that ***** and know it? What has honestly kept you going all these years? Her consistency in the music industry is literally unheard of so I'm sure she can gives an in-depth answer to this question and not just "bc music is my passion"...bc its deeper than that...or maybe its not and she really is just the coolest person that's ever lived. What was considered an "average" day in her life?  Did she ever get her lickback with Jay Z's ugly ass and was it worth it? Give us the play-by-play of wtf happened in that elevator :sistrens:

Spoiler

It can be titled "She Knowles" :santa:

oh I LOVE reading/listening to celebrity memoirs. I just don't feel like Bey is the kinda person who would write one on her own, but she also wouldn't want to have a ghostwriter. I just cannot imagine Bey spending months on a written-word memoir project about her life/reflections. it's too... straightforward (and vulnerable) for her.

that's why I think an interview would be so so ideal. like, imagine a sit-down interview where Blue Ivy interviews her... and Bey gets to fully control the edit. I think that'd be more her style.

if we're cutting CC to be more palatable to the GP it would end up being like 12 tracks maximum with 2 interludes tbh.

I feel like we're in the timeline where Blue is going to be the one running ****. So I'm here for it but once again, I just don't see Beyoncé ever opening up in an interview.

And technically autobiographies can have a cowriter. MOST celebrities do and I wouldn't have a problem with Beyoncé doing it either. It's not like I ever have :-*

You can really tell that Nasty Girl is Beyoncé's favorite song ever

The big changes I'd make to CC:

- Replace Blackbiird with an original song for the Black women to be featured on, where they get to say more than 5 words each

- Cut all the spoken word portions but Dolly's (with Dolly P just being combined with Joanne)

- Incorporate and credit Linda Martell on a cover of Color Him Father and keep Spaghetti just Beyoncé and Shaboozey
