I really still have a hard time with the no-performances-and-just-one-single phase she is on. It was hard for me to say goodbye to the Renaissance era and I feel the same for CC because they feel incomplete for it. 

 

But indeed, new music is probably the better option, I would actually love the idea of her releasing the film for acts now (since CC was supposed to be the first act). But having a film for 3 acts will just take the focus away from act III. 

The problem is that she's coming off like a near-retired veteran, which doesn't seem to be her intention. Not having visuals only makes things worse. If she wants to continue this era, she needs to start releasing them. In today's music world , playlists, radio, and social media are the most effective forms of promotion traditional promo isn't always necessary. She has so much media capital, but she's often not using it to effectively promote her music. 

 

The real issue is that she's not doing anything. She's on this "let the music speak for itself" wave, but girl, the music can't do everything on its own. She's pushing these eras like personal passion projects she was forced to share with the world ( I know it is not like that and she had a clear goal, vision and intention with each act, but it can feel like that sometimes) 

 

I get that Beyoncé doesn't like doing promo, but Columbia Records isn't stepping up either. They could still push the singles without much involvement from her. If she doesn't want to do too much, that's fine but Columbia/Sony needs to do their job, or she needs to hold them accountable. Prolonging an era with no effort to promote it makes no sense. No visuals, no singles, no strategy—just dropping music and disappearing. The only time she resurfaces is to sell us stuff no one asked (minus Cecred and sir Davis), and that's it.

 

If this is truly what she wants, that's okay we have to respect her decision. But in that case, it's time to move on to the next act. She's always said she wanted to slow down, and we need to accept that. I am happy for her but we need to keep moving forward.

PSA to all Beyhive in this forum. This is literally the Beyonce Bowl font. It's the font she is using for this Netflix Cowboy Carter moment. It follows a video of Beyonce wearing a Cowboy hat on a horse referencing a rodeo. This video is absolutely about Cowboy Carter. This is not Act III.

Just turn off your notifications for Act III and avoid it entirely until you're ready. You don't have to move on to Act III right away you can stay in the "Cowboy Carter" universe for at least another two years, sis.

That's because some people are listening to the album for the first time and Bodyguard is a catchy song that gets to you right away.  Such a song not getting a music video is criminal. I truly hope Beyoncé has a long term visual thing set up for all the albums.

mj, prince, madonna, tina, janet, yoko, etc. did tours in they 40s/50s and still put on a great show. despite the injury, RWT was a smooth transition showing us she can still snap but gonna tone down on the heavy choreo (which made a better show imo). 

It's ridiculous. Tina Turner was performing huge stadiums in her 70's.  Beyoncé will make sure to continue her music legacy until her kids are all grown enough to be included in some capacity into it. She wont pressure them but it's obvious she is building a legacy with Jay. They are not shy about it and make no apology for it. Their kids are getting a balanced life, and plenty of love but they will leave them with all the tools to carry on without ever needing help from others in the industry. Others sense that it's coming and are not that happy about it, that's why there is some attitude and well planted smear campaign against them since the Diddy stuff. It wont work and their plans will continue as planned.
