This can't be just a result of the Grammy nods it's a combination of things...I've seen quite a few tiktoks and tweets talking about how this album is hitting different after the elections so some people are re-listening to it cause of that, bodyguard has been increasing since the "music video", some people listened to it/re-listened after the grammy nominations. It's like people are finally remembering she dropped an album (can't really blame them if they forgot )

Burn Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 When all 3 acts are out we should have an album survivor of the full trilogy. 4
jane Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Americans back to being depressed and listening to darker albums like CC and soon her rock/folk album. Beyoncé always wins in the end haha!

Draper. Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 Since she stopped teasing act iii, we'll take the Renaissance Film on streaming on its one year anniversary and a cute accompanying album. Thank you. 8
V$. Posted November 10, 2024 Posted November 10, 2024 If it weren't for Beyoncé and Shaboozey, country music would have been mostly locked out of the main four categories: album, record and song of the year and best new artist. Beyoncé is represented in album, record and song of the year, while Shaboozey is nominated for best new artist and song of the year. For the last 10 years, and not including today's nominations, only four country artists have received album of the year nominations (and that's including more Americana-leaning artists, like Sturgill Simpson and Brandi Carlile) and there has only been one winner: Musgraves for Golden Hour in 2018. So it will be up to Beyoncé and Shaboozey to represent country music in the main categories (all of which are presented on air, while country is often relegated to the pre-telecast) on Feb. 2 and maybe Beyoncé will finally get her long overdue album of the year win. https://www.billboard.com/music/country/country-grammy-nominations-analysis-beyonce-shaboozey-1235823956/ 1

Yeah the live versions are cute but OG just HITS and Jay's verse and contribution is SO underrated. Also I played around with my Spotify settings to make the bass and clarity hit. I still struggle to sing along to Jay's verse after all these years. It's not an easy rap to rap along to at all. It's so intelligently done. Edited November 10, 2024 by BGKC

This album is really cemented in history on so many levels! First Black Female Country #1 Album First Black Female Country #1 Single First #1 Hot 100 By A Black Female Country Song Most Grammy Nominated Album of All Time I think something we've sort of glossed over when it comes to the country resurgence is how it's focused largely around men who make "bro country" like M- Wallen and Z- Bryan, P- Malone etc. Music that frat bros find "real" and "deep" Before "Texas Hold Em," the last woman to have a multi-week Hot 100 leader with a (real) country song was a long time ago. I can't even recall who it would be when you leave the faux-country, Max Martin-produced Swedish pop factory song "We Are Never Getting Back Together" out of the equation. 2
SmittenCake Posted November 11, 2024 Posted November 11, 2024 And to think it was Black social media pages making fun of her looks when she was only just a BABY. Still no apologies from those media outlets and internet personalities. She looks so stunning. As she continues to blossom, she looks more and more like Bey. 7
