Legit kinda worried about her.

I remember in 2016 we said, "Well, maybe it won't be as bad as we thought."  Now we know it's actually worse than you can even imagine, and this time he's enraged and has full immunity from his ******* SCOTUS.  This is a man who wants revenge.

Sincerely think the era will be pushed back, too.

The era wont be pushed back at all - but a tour might be

A tour would not be safe for her at this point. Things are about to get violent. Dont buy into the healing the country crap, we are headed to a civil war. This country has never been as divided and it's about to get worse.

I think she will release Act III but i wouldn't count on a tour yet. Overall people are about to feel pretty depressed. Good luck to all. I know i'm done playing nice with the other side. DONE!

She did do Beychella and the On the run tour with Jay Z during Trump's first presidency. I dont think an artistic person like Beyoncé will really let any of this ruin her process but damn the new year will look depressing for a lot of people.

Why are you worried for Beyonce? She is literally one of the most powerful women in america, a billionaire with a vast protective system around her.

it's everyone else we should be worried about, not billionaires who support the very system that Trump came out of

You really don't need to lecture me on this.  I'm VERY aware and personally know many people who are at serious risk under a Trump admin.

I specifically said I'm worried about her because he's 100% got a list of political enemies.  It goes without saying I'm worried about the very future of American democracy and people.

She can tour without going to the US like Michael and Tina did.

she's not not touring bc of this bfr, she toured twice during Chump's last presidency, was supposed to extend FWT into 2017 if the pregnancy didn't happen, did one of her biggest concerts ever during his presidency and there was the rumored 2020 tour that didn't happen bc of covid.

i'd be more worried about potential WW3 ******* up her plans than her giving up on her biggest money maker just bc the pumpkin man is back in the house :deadbanana:

IDK why y'all think she wont tour because of Trump lol

If anything, it should just make her louder with her art

For the record, when I mentioned she may push the era back it's because the mood is about to be so, so bleak and the news is going to be covering this nonstop for months.  It's going to be hard to break through with anything.

Of course, that's been the last nine years with Trump in the picture.  Every day is a new, fresh hell so it may not change anything.

Is the president that important? He was already president and Biden was also not such a good president.

I don't see why that's relevant to releasing music.

She can just come to Europe and go to Asia if things go south there. She has abandoned Asia, it's time for her to tour outside of US + Europe once more.

Right!

I'm starting to have such low tolerance for the overly emotional hot takes.

If anything, the actual sane voters will be looking for an outlet of joy and a Bey tour is perfect for that.

Similarly, the Lemonade era took place during his initial run, and worked all the more better because of it.

She ought to snatch the Grammy noms this week and announce the tour shortly after. We literally need it.

Off-topic/on-topic: the result is a MESS. And a total disgrace. I don't want to get too spooky or kooky about it, but it really makes me question humankind, its logic (or lack thereof), and where it's trending in the future. Stupidity and total outlaw antics are permitted in such a way that he was even allowed to be nominated and now over 50% of the most powerful nation voted him in as if it makes any kind of sense or follows any of the rules, rationale, or logic that the SAME voters have to follow in their day-to-day lives.

I legit think this doubles down on how animal-like humans are by nature. Sheep and herd -mentality. There's an appetite for dominance and proximity to dominance that people (including many women and POCs) would sooner vote in someone who is actively against their rights than someone who mirrors who they actually are.

Beyonce announce that damn tour because this is the ghetto lol

I don't think it's just freedom.. cowboy carter rose a lot on apple music in many countries after her IG posts, so i'm expecting an increase. But still, she'll probably go radio silent again now so..

People are emotional and assume the worst, especially since one of the main talking points was that he is a nazi and would ruin the democracy. I'm not saying he won't, just that people are afraid and think about ways it could affect their lives. But the only way I can see Trump affecting Beyoncé is that she only keeps on pushing and being petty, so we get more politically themed songs and content

Hmm I get that but releasing a single like Break My Soul would be so meaningful in this very moment that if she has something like that at hands I don't think she'll push it back.

Also, keep in mind, those that will boycott Beyonce because Trump is in office, and she pushed for Kamala have no interest in her anyway.   Trump would 100% welcome her endorsement in 2 seconds if she offered it.

Do I think her pushing for Kamala was necessarily a good idea for her business?  No, but how can I expect someone with power to not use that power to help a cause they feel is great or important?  And I don't expect her to stop doing that now just because Trump won.
