Burn Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I'm starting to think maybe act iii is actually jazz and not rock. We wrote it off as a joke but maybe her playing the sax in the Verizon ad really was a hint. I'd be happy with either tho.

A soul/jazz/lounge record ala Diamond Life from her would literally be a wet dream for me. But I'm so intrigued to hear how she would approach a rock album as well. I will say though, a jazz album could realistically come later on too. But if she doesn't do a rock album now as part of the trilogy I don't really see her doing one after that down the line. But you never know with her I guess. Her creativity knows no limits. 1

verzden Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I think act iii is probably going to be her most experimental album yet.

THIS I'd love a Rock album, but if it is Jazz I'll be perfectly satisfied either way. Go Bee 1 1

She hinted in the V Magazine spread that the next act is her stepping into her Rock Chic era

kimberly Posted March 30 Posted March 30 woke up with DAUGHTER stuck in my head. cried listening to it. and last night II MOST WANTED had me in tears. this album is insane, so cinematic. it's tugging on renny's wig a little bit. I'm not picking a side yet, it's too soon. but wow. 4
chaeyonce Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I mean if possible I'm taking the rock album over the Jazz one because her voice since B'day has been begging for it It's even more apparent since her first pregnancy (Don't Hurt Yourself) but now with Ya Ya it's undeniable

I like Reba's version better!”
CallumDavies Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I agree we should come up with a name for the three acts as a whole. I always liked Baz Luhrmann's 'Red Curtain Trilogy'. Consisting of Strictly Ballroom, Romeo + Juliet, and Moulin Rouge! Something similar would be an amazing collectors item. Building on the "box" idea they've been using for the first two acts. It could include vinyl for all three acts, plus the visuals, and a coffee book covering the behind the scenes and photoshoots etc. Any ideas? 1
BlueRuin24 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Are we sure there is a third act? What is a B7 and B8? but no B9?
