beyonceparkwood Posted March 27 Posted March 27 22 tracks can fit on a 2LP if it's not longer 88 minutes. If the album is 22 tracks (which I don't believe), I could see it being a lot of interludes, alike Janelle's work, which would make sense with the Radio Texas theory. 2

However a lot of those tracks are between 2.5 - 3 minutes and I think it's unlikely Bey would hop on the trend of doing short songs. At least I hope she won't… 1

Are y'all crazy? That's almost like getting act to an act three at the same time! Also who are we to complain about excessive amount of new music by THEE beyonce? Like what is going on in here? Yall are CRAZY 8 2

luxurious Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I want a strong concise album. I tend to find that every single album that I have ever listened to that has more than 16 tracks has at least 2+ songs that drag the body of work down. IF this is true I would be happy with 22 tracks if some of them are interludes kind of like Janet's older work (TVR, Janet's ST etc.) especially if there's a major historical element to the album given the history of country/cowboy culture interludes could really help to contextualise the album. This is all speculation of course and we'll find out the truth on Friday 1
Kingdom Posted March 27 Posted March 27 THIS IS BEYONCE. She could make a cohesive 50 song album. Only her can do that. I trust her

FameFatale Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Anyone remember the movie Across the Universe? It had some great Beatles covers in it. I could see her going that route.
ElectricBlue Posted March 27 Posted March 27 i think some people have a hard time connecting with the beatles because the recordings do have that dated sound because of the technical limitations of the time, but the music and lyrics were always top tier and i'm sure she will sound incredible so i feel an entire generation will be exposed to the beatles again and hopefully it'll peak their interest 1

Burn Posted March 27 Posted March 27 'Beyoncé' is truly a genre within itself. Especially in the last few years her music has evolved to a place where it can no longer be boxed into R&B, or pop, rap, afrobeats, country, dance, whatever the hell else. The way she brings these sounds together in a unique and creative way is what puts her lightyears ahead of other artists. 2
