ThousandMiles Posted March 23 Posted March 23 where's the film? i'm tired of steaming it via 240p youtube fancam videos that get taken down after 24 hours. 1

Draper. Posted March 23 Posted March 23 We actually kinda knew that with the "38 summers" line, Honey saying she was interested in country music after what happened at the CMAs, and that story about Matthew going to country radio stations saying someone in his family was doing country back in 2018-2019. It's good to have it confirmed. I love how 16 Carriages sounds like a natural progression from Lemonade, hopefully we get more of that. 7 1
Burn Posted March 23 Posted March 23 It's crazy to realise that songs like Black Parade and Be Alive are actually 'newer' than the album we're about to get. 3

OnMyCoolJ Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Covid probably gave her a lot of time to just record and have fun without any pressure of releasing. On top of Jay saying years ago that bey has thousands of unreleased songs they dance around to in the house. I wonder if we will see / hear the song with Mumford & Sons that didn't make The Gift. 1
Draper. Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I really hope act iii is a GAG. I feel like we know nothing about it at all. 5
Devin Posted March 23 Posted March 23 i still have hope for act iii being jazz / blues. like Amy Winehouse mixed with Prince. 1
Blue Rose Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I feel like there's no third album and act iii is the movie that ties Renaissance and Cowboy Classic together

To have two acts be two full fledged eras expanding months and the third one be just a visual that will happen at a singular date makes it feel like an afterthought. Amazon Italy kinda said these were three albums with the "first disc in a trilogy" phrase and their tea was right tho. 4
luxurious Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I still think it'll be an album because she said she recorded three projects during the pandemic in the renaissance booklet and I'm pretty sure visuals were still being filmed after break my soul's release iirc

Amazon Italy kinda said these were three albums with the "first disc in a trilogy" phrase and their tea was right tho. But we know she filmed the visuals years ago so it can't be an afterthought since it's been part of her plan. REN and Cowboy aesthetics are way too intertwined, a third act would just disrupt that. There aren't any crumbs pointing to a Rock album besides that motorcycle picture. Meanwhile there were a ton pointing to a Country album. The third act could shown in theaters and that would make it eventful
Arrogant Posted March 23 Posted March 23 TWOTW has me in a chokehold this fine day Temptation is calling Papi, wanting you so bad I could cry Relationship's calling me To do the wrong things but I wanna do right!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8
sillycilla Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Yeah it would be underwhelming if that were the case. I am starting to align more with the theory that Cowboy Carter is actually the beginning of the visuals and starts the story. We shall see. I can't imagine waiting another 2 years, 5 after Renaissance for the visuals. :/

Draper. Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Just now, Jai said: Am I the only one who wants a RWT live album over the visuals? I honestly don't see how we could be getting one, but maybe that's why the Renaissance Film is nowhere to be found. It really should've been out by December 1st...
Jon Snow Posted March 23 Posted March 23 (edited) i don't know what people expect a rock album from her to sound like... it wouldn't be a rock album, it would be a beyonce album. and tina turner/prince rock sound would fit well with her discography and the trilogy edit: even donna summer (probably the biggest inspiration behind act i) blended rock with disco, and act ii will for sure have some rock influences Edited March 23 by Jon Snow 1
