chaeyonce Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I just find the standard cover so much better, I probably wouldn't have bought the red vinyl if she had released everything at the same time

Blue Rose Posted March 22 Posted March 22 How can you guys already forget the Renaissance rollout? - limited edition vinyls + boxes were available on her website from the start. once those sold out, the standard edition vinyls (collectors edition) were available for preorder on her website and also on Amazon, Target, Walmart etc… This happened before the album release. On release day, CDs with the official cover were available in stores. At this point it doesn't look like retailers will have the album available on time. And yes it doesn't make sense to put the standard on sale when the limited edition is still widely available. This is what she gets for dropping Texas and abandoning the era for weeks. Time is not on our side. This is the point Complain Hive was making 4 1
QueenBLadyG Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) Ride it like a RODEO when I'm on top Sprinkling bread crumbs... - Why is everything so messy in here? A user having the gull to say Kitty Kat is a skip!? Green Light!? Doesn't even listen to Peabody!!? Yikes. Edited March 22 by QueenBLadyG

Jon Snow Posted March 22 Posted March 22 some of those takes were tragic B'Day is shaping to be her most important album artistically. LEMONADE, RENAISSANCE and COWBOY CARTER all have strong ties to that album (probably and hopefully act iii will too). B'Day walked so that her best albums could run 3 4

Jon Snow Posted March 22 Posted March 22 i also have a theory that the timeline of her albums in the first and second half of her career follows the same logic Dangerously In Love + Self-Titled: a new start, she's defining herself B'Day + LEMONADE: quality, a bit less commercially successful, but really important for her as an artist I Am... Sasha Fierce + RENAISSANCE/COWBOY CARTER/act iii: double album and a trilogy, genre change, commercial rebirth, they love her again moment 4 + B10: her personal favorite, an album she does because she wants it and enjoys it, the point where she's ready to transition into something new, R&B
Chris Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Which songs are going to be edited and restructured due to someone crying that Beyoncé didn't personally reach out to them? 1
Negiiiii Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Already told yall B'Day is truly her BEST album (with Renaissance). B'Day is almost 20years old guys and Upgrade U could have been a song released YESTERDAY. It would have SLAYED. Same goes for Freakum, Green Light… B'Day's level is UNMATCHED. 2
Matangi Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Renaissance, LEMONADE, ST and 4 are all way better than B'Day. 4 2 2
VerdantHue Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) I'll be waiting to buy the collectors edition. I was so mad when she ended up releasing a second RENAISSANCE vinyl, after getting the limited edition, that included the alternate cover, with the standard cover on the hardback sleeve, a randomized poster AND liner notes/booklet. Edited March 22 by VerdantHue
Blue Rose Posted March 22 Posted March 22 We could've used another deal with Amazon that included CDs or vinyls

swissman Posted March 22 Posted March 22 1 hour ago, Blue Rose said: The theory that the limited cover was supposed to be the standard cover scares the living hell out of me. Does that mean she was considering Beyincé as an album title imo those words look photoshopped on, but I could be wrong. actually I brought it into photoshop to rotate and zoom and maybe I am wrong, the edges look real though...that could be just good photoshop. anyway, why does that scare you if we have it with 100% certainty that she knew to change it? I wouldn't mind BEYINCÉ as an album title actually, kind of like self-titled but with a twist. Beyoncé stays switching things up and surprising us while also not revealing anything about her we didn't already know....people see this country era as like WHOA BEYONCÉ DOES COUNTRY? while it's also perhaps the most natural "switch up" she could ever make.
swissman Posted March 22 Posted March 22 3 minutes ago, Blue Rose said: Bidet is her worst album. Ignore the crackhead wait what? That's one of her best, and her best pre-2013 album for sure. are you rating the re-release? the original is a stunning linear story with some of her best songs and is the record that contains the core Beyoncé DNA: female financial autonomy, sexuality as a weapon, brassy, sassy instrumentation... 5
Brikenbur Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) Maybe she is REACHING but this is the latest theory and first time I've heard it… This is a "BEYONCÉ" (2013) album https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTL2TXMeN/ Edited March 22 by Brikenbur
R.E.M. Posted March 22 Posted March 22 y'all not seeing a problem with an album titled BEYINCÉ when she already has an album titled BEYONCÉ is deeply concerning btw 3 1 1

Simply because it would be a horrible title for many reasons. Now if ST was Beyincé, that would've been iconic 1
